Others most undoubtedly may have been following the news. The 22nd, along with it's allies and with some support from locals have now take two systems with in the Verge Vendor region of space.

"Costolle and Hevrice are now both under our protection, and any aggression from the Gallente Militia would be looked down upon. These systems will prosper and continue to to find peace and order under our watch."

The press begin the ask their questions and the conference goes on for another 10 minutes before Captain Makoto leaves the podium.

My corp mates introduced me to the concept of "holo night" last night. While the holo was utterly absurd, the system it was set in had a sort of stark beauty. Unfortunately, the credits didn't list where it was made, so all I can guess at is that it was made somewhere in Gallente space.

Metal bulkheads collapsed inward in a compact tr.apezoid, with large metal crates against them. A scene of death dimly light by lithe white whispered memories of gunfire. Limbs hung limply from corpses, gore trailing in spirals of strife. The lights came on, oppressively bright, and the bodies fell to the bottom bulkhead.

The crash of bone against metal echoed timelessly within the hold; a new arrival, a man alive, no less dropped in. A small woman in a coat much too big walked behind him. Fire spread through the mans ribs where her foot smashed him. A crunch told him she broke a pair of his own ribs. His lip bled where he bit it.

She dragged him to a desk by his hair, and pushed a button on a small camera. She smiled sweetly, though the cheek slicked with blood damped the illusion somewhat. Another smash and echo, and his face was against the desk, staring hopelessly into the camera. His eyes twittered in their sockets, as sweat and blood seeped from his brow.

Be a good boy and tell the camera what you've been up to, Commander, she began.
Why, he coughed, with forced scorn. His breath kicked his hair from his cracked lips.
She kicked him again, in the same spot. A rib moved painfully as it shattered.
The right question at the right time is wasted when it's an answer I want, Commander.
What? She punched his cheek viciously.
Let's try a new one tell the camera who you work for.

He sputtered blood and lip fragments onto the desk. This did not constitute an answer. She stomped his back. He screamed desperately.
Syllables and sentences, Commander; syllables and sentences.

Heth's Hired Goons, yes, she said, before drawing a small pistol from one of the many pockets of the coat. Would you die for the State?
Unhesitatingly. He shook while he spoke, his voice meek and wavering, as he closed his eyes. His face was a mess of sweat and tears.

You realize you're going to die, so who are you lying to? She swiped a finger across his cheek, collecting sweat. You're as afraid of death as anyone.

I didn't say you were afraid of me, she laughed a little. She brought a knee up into his ribcage, shattering a few more ribs. He fell from the desk, writhing in pain, desperately muttering. She grabbed his hair again, and thrust his face in front of the camera, her pistol in her other hand. She tapped the skull above his ear twice with the pistol.

A misguided vigilante brainwashed into service, forced to try to kill those close to me. He is a slave no more. The shot rang throughout the hold, as gore obscured the camera. She wiped the lens with a cloth obtained from one of the coats pockets. The body slumped to the floor.
Heth, if you want me dead, you'll have to face me with your own men, because these would-be vigilantes are nerds trying to be pulp heroes. Now they're corpses decorating my new Badger.

Anyone who thinks they want to go pirate hunting, she said with venom, as she grabbed the body by the back of it's head, Ask yourself if this is what you want your face to look like this. Listen to that tiny voice in the back of your head saying 'they don't pay me enough for this, I can't do this, I'm not going to listen to Him any longer.' And god dammit, listen! That little voice is the voice of meaning in a meaningless world, a perfect light in an equally perfect void! I was shocked right from the start...I know that traitors have to be dealt with, but how much morality does the Federation want to sacrifice for such gorish propaganda?

Killing the former Admiral Eturrer by self-ignition triggerd by the crowds cheering? You could see in Eturrers face that the Federation did get no victory over him. Even in death he did not lose to Foiritan, at least not in his mind. All this gruesome show and what did it bring? Nothing. Nothing but showing how barbaric the "we are the good"-Federation really is.

You call the Amarr barbaric because they have slaves? Slavery is wrong in my opinion but thats just a point of view. But this event? Isn't it unquestionable worse? His death was deserved but with it the dignity of the Federation died. Even if I did not like the Feds attitude in a lot of cas anyway, this on has lost them my respect as human beings. I don't know how other capsuleers think about that.

Oh and just in comparism: I don't know how Karsoth died, but it was no propaganda done. And on the most important note: He lost, after he spoke against the Empress she just took his resolve and he lost, unlike Eturrer. This did not change my opinion about the Amarrians mind you, but at least they did not give away a part of their humanity for it.

The fourth quarter of 110 ended 110.12.31 and Infinity Systems was quick to pull together its in house report and analysis. Infinity Systems has broken the 1 billion isk company value mark this quarter. The company has grow to ten times its size at the beginning of the year.

Now to the Gallente citizens, my behaviour and those that attented last spontanious new years party at
Cat VII Moon 4 Material Aquisition Mineral Reserve was horrible.
At the start i had no intention of letting things get so out of hand, but as the evening whent on and well i thought i could handle my booze.
But someone brought some Caladari moonshine and things whent down hills from there, i fully understand if you have revoked my docking privilidges. I will ofcorse pay for the damages made to the gravity plating and the park, i understand some of the flowers where quite rare.

I also apologize for the raunchy songs we sang about your president and various females, i am truly sorry for calling people very early in the morning and telling them about my new revolutionary propulsion system called warping.
And i am sorry for the fight i started when someone said it was already invented and in use.
If someone is missing an engineer by the name of Marcus Lucios he is in my hotel room sleeping off the hang over, and speaking of hang overs.
Does someone have a cure that does'nt involve cloning?..

The shuttle touched down a half a mile down-slope, proximity sensors networked to the watchful black operations battleship in orbit above and a pair of gravitic-tech war-drones beating the bounds of the invisible perimeter beneath a wan winter sky illuminated by the stolen light of the distant sun. And all the while she walked alone, wrapped in furs and wearing winter boots and shivering regardless under the assault of the frozen winds and endless storm that wrapped this lonely planet like angry shroud.

10 minutes and the chill was fighting fatigue as the unaccustomed grip of natural gravity and heavy clothing brought breath fast and laboured and even the relentless click-clicking of the radioactive sniffer was quieter than laboured breathing beneath the thick hood and cloak.

"Confirmed position, 99.9% accuracy on geostationary simulation."

She shrugged beneath the winter clothing and whispered "merci" as gloved fingers clumsily toggled the offcoms state of the wrist responder and despite the warnings of onboard medical nano-tech reached up and lowered the hood to feel the bite of the storm on exposed skin for just a little while.

"There really is nothing left. I removed it all with a single word."

The woman squinted hard through the blizzard and surveyed the landscape, littered with broken and blackened rocks and glassed terrain, no topsoil of course, no vegetation, no life.

"Well, this is as close as we get."

From her furs the woman brings a pair of goblets, crystal cut industrial sapphire, not priceless but close as it gets for most. Setting down the glasses on a tumbled fragment of volcanic rock she pours a measure of spirit to each from an insulated flask, dark amber made crimson in the half light. Fumbling now from the cold and shivering deeply from exposure she brings a final object from her clothing to lay between the goblets ... a single simple blood red rose.

"Look at me the priestess, who would have thought it?"

Long moments of contemplation before the woman finally raises the hood of the robes and protects herself from the storm-winds and chill of that benighted place.

"I will never forget."

I remember wars in the Bleak Lands, against a group of rogue Minmatarr Navy personnel and their Ushra'Khan Alliance. I remember the expelling of the Minmatarr from Providence at the hands of the Curatores Veritatis. I remember the nobles of the Amarr warrying each other for the possession of solar systems. I remember a Speaker of Truths cleansing the Kor-Azor space. I remember a war starting between the nations, and death calling pilots by the thousands.

I remember Kingdom of Kador growing from a small corporation to a large alliance, and then vanishing and spreading at the loss of their head, Mr Tablaren. I remember large parties of heretics, pirates, and loyalists in the Maison de Tous Plaisirs, or in the estates of Miss Neferis. Political discussions in so many discussion chambers, conspiracies unveiled and decided. I remember teachings and debates in the Amarr channel, among the loyal, the knowledgeable, the new and the vile. I remember friends, and fights and doubts. I remember gifts, both made and received. I remember noble speaches of pilots like Archbishop, or Lucius Vindictus, who guided and inspired; I even remember giving one such speach once. I remember the enemies, the respected ones like Evanda Char, and the despised ones, and even those that fall in between like Promethian Child. I remember the new, the unknown of the first flights, and the security and decision of guiding a whole squad or even a wing of squads. I remember death, those small lapses of time in which no memories are forged while a clone is being active, and your soul lies in between the living and the dead; I remember forgetting.

I remember Brothers joining the Ordo Quaesitoris, and then leaving, or dying in service to God and the Empire. I have shed a tears for each and one of them, and created them an altar, and after this months, this altars have become all too unfortunately numerous. I remember Daath and his first barks when he was given to us. I remember the creation of the Ordo Ars Scientia, and our first station. Of the Magna Ordo and its untimely dissapearance. I remember Rites, and teachings, and guidance. I remember union.

Vikarion turns to face the camera, as a cutout appears on the screen and begins to transition through major works of art, science, and industry as he continues to speak.

"Imagine what we could do if we were not limited by our frail bodies, if we were not hampered by our fragility. Looking at the great works we have accomplished with even these tools of the self, we can only dream what might be accomplished if we did not daily dwell in the shadow of death. Dream, that is, until now."

The logo of Whit Rose Society appears behind the speaker.

"White Rose Society is bringing the technology of tomorrow to the people of today, and we are starting with you. For the next thirty days, we will be holding a random drawing from entrants all across the Empires. We have branded this contest 'Significance', because that is what our winners will receive!"

The screen shifts to the inside of a generic research center as the voice-over continues.

The camera shifts back to Vikarion, now walking through around his pod inside a ship of some sort.

After all, if it's good enough for a podder in the midst of a chaotic space battle, it's definitely safe in a quiet corporate facility. All you have to do is use the weekly back-up scanner, and the only side-effect you need worry about is a slight loss of recent memory. Which, to be fair, isn't a big deal when you're avoiding not having any memory at all."

Vikarion walks over to a large screen, which lights up with information as he presses a small remote.

I feel sorry for all the loyal Amarr I have made fun of over the last few years. I cannot imagine how painful it must be to see everything you fought for destroyed by some addict with a super weapon fetish. Still at least you have your sacred traditions...

During our still short existence, we continued to make significant progress on our strategic goal of providing a richer and broader portfolio of products to assist our customers in deploying adequate forces to counter threats against the Caldari State in the region of Black Rise. Our record of revenue growth and profitability remains a feat I am proud to have achieved. Our intitial stock capital of 500.000.000 ISK has grown to an owner's equity of 865.000.000 ISK. Earnings were negatively impacted by higher mineral costs but we have managed to reserve a further 550.000.000 ISK in dividends which will be reinvested in Ytiri Retail by becoming a long term loan against a monthly 3,5% interest to our shareholder.

Like the Retail Division, our mining Division is still heavily understaffed. It is in the plans to aquire an Orca Industrial Command Ship within the first quarter of EST 111 to assist the output of minerals further and make the output less dependent on more staff.

Ytiri Retail continues to invest strongly in product development that exploits new advances in technologies, anticipates market trends and provides business advantage to our partners and customers. We will strenghten our Mining - and Retail Division with employee expansion and strategic partnerships. Expansion through a share emission can be a viable option to achieve strategic partnerships. The last edict of the Empyress freed the ninth and up generation of our people in the Amarr Empire! Uprisings everywhere! For we have the right -and now is the time- to free all of us.

Miltia conflicts within Heimatar and The Bleaklands took a twist in the late hours of yesterday.

Late afternoon, reports came in that an Amarrian militia fleet had moved into Kourmonen via Kamela and had moved in force futher towards Amamake. A counter fleet was assembled of brave Matari warriors and those loyaly to the cause. At approximately 19:14, militia fleets clashed in heavy fighting in Dal.

With true Matari courage, the Matari warriors and our allies inflicted heavy damage on the enemy fleet. As the fight seemed to sway to our favour, a cynosaural field appeared mid battle. Immediately, two Nyx class motherships being piloted by Shadow Raven and Unkron of The Firm alliance appeared on the battlescan as fighters were deployed.

Orders were made for the Matari fleet to move out from the battlefield as these Motherships engaged our fleet with Fighter support. We believe that The Firm is expected to be in the area for a number of days to continue in the support of the Amarrian Militia. We can also confirm that a number of Dreadnought and Carrier class Capital ships belonging to The Firm have been seen in the area.

So High Empress Fancypants finally let a handful of her house slaves out to pasture? And what do all of you do?

Some of you bow your heads like good little boys and girls and start calling your slaves "employees, as if they'll ever be anything but slaves ... just like you.

Some of you wave your hands around and scream at the top of your lungs as if she said that God is dead (FYI, God isn't dead. You have to have existed in order to die), as if the billions upon billions of other slaves you've tied yourselves down with will suddenly stop fetching your slippers in the morning.

Some of you murmur that someone must take care of these poor, benighted souls. You want to rescue them, bring them home, call them family, as if they're anything other than walking biological, psychological weapons aimed right at your heads. As if they're not slaves anymore. As if they even want to know what freedom is.

And some of you shout that this isn't enough, that you won't rest until every last one of your "brothers" are free. As if that will work. As if freedom is something you can give someone, instead of something you take for yourself. As if you've accomplished anything in the last 200 years other than kill a lot of people. As if even that is worth being proud of.

Some of you want peaceful coexistence. Others want the other side to just die. Well, keep it up. One of these days, you'll both get your wish. Every one of you, every slave that knows he's a slave and every slave that thinks he's free, you're all chasing something that you can't even understand. Either you're chasing freedom that you'll never know or you're chasing a God that you couldn't possibly know (because, as I may have mentioned, no God).

None of you are free. None of you are the servants of God. None of you will ever get what you want.

Matari: Stop chasing freedom for others. Even if you catch it, they won't be able to have it. Look at you. You're not free. You're just a slave to something of your own creation. You're as pitiful as the people you're trying in vain to free.

Amarrian: Stop serving a mass delusion. You're not servants of some mystical superbeing. You're servants of men and women who told you that the mystical superbeing exists. They're slaves of other men and women who told them the same thing and so on. You're just as pitiful as the imaginary thing you're trying in vain to serve.


Ah, I'm talking to hear the sound of my voice. I must be. None of you are going to snap your fingers and say, "Oh, now I see." Your blinders were put on long ago, usually by your own design. And maybe I have my own set of blinders. But the difference between you and me is that I can see how blind you all are ... and the kind of freedom I have, none of you will ever see.

In this historic day I would like to take some time to address the slaves of the Temple of the Holy Prophet in Heveka, The slaves working for the Marek Nobles, and their newly freed brothers.

The progress of human liberty shows that the only way to earn freedom was through struggle. Our Empress has shown the greatness that is Amarr by negating this long held belief and freeing slaves out of her loyalty to the commandments of God and the kindness of her heart. How difficult must this moment be for the millions of Minmatar terrorists that have killed for this supposed freedom -shooting down with them Holder and slave alike- and now have to face the fact that their killings have been in vain. God will free slaves in His time not because of the threat of terrorism.

Progress has come, not out of struggle but out of God's infinite Wisdom,... May he forever be praised... I congratulate you, members of our workforce, for your patience and loyalty through countless generations. I know that most of you are celebrating this day. And my family will give every employee this week off, freemen and slaves alike. Enjoy the festivities, and each other's company. Your request for the erection of an Imperial statue of the likeness of Empress Jamyl I has been heard and we will seek an artist to immediately get to work on it. She will adorn the botanical gardens of the Temple grounds as a reminder to the slave population that God rewards loyal service.

After the festivities are over we will be processing your identity and updating our books. Come in to work as you normally did. We will be changing the system to reflect your new status as a free employees of our House. Do not forget the large responsibility that you you have been entrusted with, to be a role model to the slave population and show them that God does not forsake those that serve them with loyalty and complete submission.

All of you, ninth generation and above will be paid the same wages that anyone with your knowledge and expertise gets paid in their position. Some of you already hold high positions within our companies and we would like to keep you and will be offering a sign up bonus to every former slave that is working in a managerial position or above.

We hope that the bonus helps you get started, as you settle down into your newly acquired status of freemen, to be spent in living quarters, furnishings, and food, as we will no longer be providing living quarters, food, or medical care for those that are no longer our responsibility. Every freed slave must leave their quarters no later than two months after this proclamation.

The Marek Nobles, would like to extend our congratulations and welcome you with open arms into the Ammatar communities under our care. You will not be discriminated against when you search for housing and any reports of discrimination can be sent to our offices in Heveka, Temple of the Holy Prophet. We will make sure they are given to the proper authorities.

Heretic Army had previously fought alongside the militia. However, this then saw the corporation turn against the militia as they separated and actively pirated within the Matari warzone, actively pirating in and around Amamake against innocent Minmatar citizens and members of the Militia themselevs.

On one such occasion, two transport vessels en-route to a T.R.I.A.D trade post were shot down.

T.R.I.A.D wish to make it very clear that in no way do we forgive Heretic Army or MirrorGod for the actions of violence against innocent Matari citizens and against T.R.I.A.D allies.

As a result, T.R.I.A.D will be repaying Heretic Army for these actions of piracy, placing aside the fact that T.R.I.A.D and Heretic Army are fighting for the Minmatar militia.

More recently, promsising Matari pilots learning their combat skills within the Republic Military School, have been engaged and shot down by members of Heretic Army whilst carrying out their own assignments for the School within Amamake. Such actions by Heretic Army against those whom they fight for cannot be tolerated in any way.

Actions against MirrorGod ,Heretic Army and their former alliance of Heretic Nation are expected to begin shortly.
