Funniest 1v1... well, i was flying around in my kessie, and i see 2 miners, a ferox and a cyclone, so i shoot one of them (their mining jaspet or somesuch). they start chasing me, firing heavy missiles. So i natrually run away burning MWD to a safe distance... but their following me. So i circle around and pop their can. That really riles them up. So, i run away and hide for 20 mins, while they smacktalk in local. After 20 mins or so, they challenge me to a duel. I accept, and say at plant X. one shows up, proceeds to fire at me. I just fly around him, not caring much since i go faster than his missiles. Then i warp to the core complexion factory... and he FOLLOWED ME! Sentry guns blew him up, i podded him, and grabbed his can. Lots of tech 2 stuff... then, i went on my merry way.

Well not quite a 1v1 but i'll tell my story i'm not a pirate so decided to go kill some pirates for bounty - plus pirates can take being killed like men and wont whine later.

i just got cloaking on my raven and decided to test it out so i fitted 2 named sensor boosters and goto a known pirate spot - i goto first belt and cloak. Now i shout out in local saying hello etc, one guy shouts back saying hello and i check his bio seems like a nice guy so we setup a convo and i tell him i am looking for some bounty etc.

So we get chatting and he sez that his ceo said that if i needed any help at all i got it. i prefer solo usually but this time i said ok thanks and carried on chatting about pvp expiriences etc

Then a bb warps into my belt that i didn't know with a neg sec status, so i ask the guy in these exact words 'is **** game?' he sez yes

so i uncloak fire up my 2 sensor boosters lock on and fire first couple of torps to get him to notice the threat, before this i opened a convo with the guy and said bounty is 2mill to stay alive u ebil pirate

i get '8)' come from him, i think ok so he's pi**ing about - i have to act quick cause he is aligning and i have no warp scrambler so i launch full spread at him and his ship gets destroyed just before he was about to warp away.

i then check the victims bio to find out that it was the ceo of the guy i was chatting to previously. well i paid 1 mill and the other guy paid the rest for the miss understanding LOL

All happened so quick i didn't check the bio.
I thought it was hilariouse and after the corp ceo calmed down we had a laugh about it.

My funniest pvp was when me n Garnet Strife were in speed raxs and 2v2ed a rax setup for dmg and a ferox. we killed the rax and the ferox ran then all of a sudden 2 scorps, 1 cruiser and 2 bc's warp in after us hahahahaha.we try to kill the cruiser but the scorps lock and jamm us. We get out to 100km before cruise started hitting and draw out the cruiser and kill it hahaha.then we come bk in and at 80 km the scorps are jamming us again.... so lame....

Since everyone has told their tales, the commenting begins:

A person enters local in hlw-hp, my hunting grounds/happy place. He is alphawolf2929 and starts toss smack talk at everyone. I say something to him and he shows me some smack talk lovin in return. I decided he was my & CA's mutual enemy, got out of my [whatever cruiser] and took my rifter to go searchin'. I found him in a caracal and thanks to my old 10+ km rifter setup (1 setup among many that I used to use) I blew him up:

Victim: alphawolf2929
Corporation: Shadows of the Dead
Destroyed Type: Caracal
Solar System: HLW-HP
System Security Level: 0.0

Then a large-ish CA gang with inties, frigs and cruisers exits warp right below me and alphawolf and I of course get the hell out of there, but alpha's hvy missile cloud hit me while I was aligning for warp:

Then the CA gang podded alphawolf, I warped my pod out and both parties congratulated each other on a job well done.

Fine performance considering it was your first pvp ever...
My first pvp was against a raven, scorp and a griffin while in my 2 hour old thorax. They were from "The Lost Boys" corp and I was lucky enough to remember their name sometime when I was in aunenen at the nonni gate in my raven and a hauler from them exited warp 15km away from me. Needless to say he went boom and 25k zydrine blew up with it.

Since then I only killed a L mining barge from them but I'll try and kill more sometime when I feel like it.

Moral of this story: Remembering names of old pirate corps for teh win

Hmm... best 1v1 fights I've had in EVE...

Blowing apart a destroyer using my mammoth is pretty high on my list.

Killing crows, taranises, destroyers, and the odd jaguar with my solo rifter is always fun.

Taking down a gankageddon solo in a thorax was also a pretty good time.

The best 1v1 I've ever had was probably 6 months ago, my taranis against Synapse in a crow in p3en. My blasters finished him off just as his last volley of missiles blew me away, leaving us 3k apart in pods. Then some random ***** in a crusader swoops in, grabs both cans, and gets killed at the other gate in the system. All the decent loot from our fight went down with that bastard.

I was in my ECM scorp at the gate to 0.0 in Obe... This shield tanked scorpion with whom i had been sharing the gate for the past 5 minutes convo's me and it gives something like this:

"hi, just bought this scorp and want to give it its first kill, wanna 1v1?"
- "nah, you won't even be able to hit me..."
- "Ok you're on dude!!!"
- "ok, as you wish"

so we warp to a SS, and he engaged me.. so i lock him, warp scramble him, ECM him, and start pounding him with torps and nos'ing him, He starts insulting me telling me im a lame ass ***** using ECM. I just answer that i told him he would be able to hit me :)), Few minutes later his tanking breaks up, i open his cargo container and what do I see?? F.O.F' cruise missiles!!! Guess he was so ****ed he didn't think of using them, especially since i wasn't even tanked a minimum .. :P

Mine wasnt really a 1v1 but it was fun.

I was about to go start making abit more money to insure my new apoc, under 3hours old probably (the ship), so i went to a 0.1 bored of missions.

I jumped in and was afk as i was looking at the eve forums, i heard a *****ling on my headphones and put eve up, missiles boomed against the apoc.

I turned the tank on and locked the 2 scorps gate camping, ABSSM and some1 else i cant remember, i opened up on mr no-name and tore his shields apart, tank is now on and rep going. cap being sucked and mr no-name running off (i didnt notice that i made him run ) so i focused on ABSSM, cap getting low and armor tank soon to fail he was at about..... 40-50% shields. not realising mr no-name ran because of me i shouted 9mil in local over and over, he stopped firing and i transferred.

He let me go and i warped to a friendly corps POS, very good fight considering i was afk for about 50% of my shields demise.

I play mostly solo so I have a lot of these...

I guess one of the funniest for me was when I had just got back into the game, I bought mods and went to a system to collect a blackbird to get down to some good old pirating. As I undocked and went to warp a Xetic destroyer comes and starts shooting (bear in mind I was only just back, I had no idea wtf Destroyers were or how good they were) the damage seemed pretty shoddy and last time I shot back at a station the sentries killed me and so didn't want to risk it. Anyway I try to warp and get stuck on the station and my shield is at 25%. Great I think, gonna lose a ship to Xetic... so I load up missiles and watch as it goes down in two salvoes. Nice way to find out the stats of a new ship

mine was definatley up in Fade, b4 FU collapsed.

I had fallen behind the rest of the fleet due to a major off-grid bumpage and was a jump or 2 behind anyone, as i jump through a gate theres a Scorpion there (i was in my Raven at the time), and he uses the warp scramble, target jam, and release drones gag, so that if i re-load FoF they would chase the drones.

Now, i knew this worked a treat because i'd had a 1v1 with a corp mate a week or two before that and he waled on me; he was using a swarm of LIGHT drones, so the FoF just sat there chasing their own tail, as he pounded on me with torps at his leisure (what a ***** tactic )

Anyhow's this FU numpty used the wrong size drones (mediums or heavies i think), so i tank him as i re-load the FoF, release my own drones, pop his drones, and release a stream of FoFy death straight at him. I didn't have a scram on as i was set up for fleet not solo ganking, so he warped out. I thought my number up for a little while before i popped his drones though.

Most memorable would be pretty early in my pvp career, me in Claw decided to engage Myal Terego (spelling? tdg..) in his Crow. Didnt take me long to realise he was using oversized ab with all my missing autocannons :p I also turned off mwd far to early and drifted a few km to far off him (we were both webbed).
Anyway tanking runs and armor is dropping for both, pop goes the Crow and a second later, pop goes the Claw, i laughed good at it...2 killmails and both final blows were capsule

Was my first Claw loss and the only one to a Crow ever.

My funny one was against a Scorpion and I was in my Megathron. This battle happened at the station. I took the Scorpion down to about 25% shields. When he jammed me. I didnt have any backups since I was in a pure tank. I thought well he's got me so I start approaching the station and he doesnt launch his torps for a while(maybe to regen cap) and then when I am right next to station he opens fire with his torps. His torps hit me and the torps splash damage hit the station. Needless to say the station opens up

After he was blown up he started yelling exploit and god knows what else in locals saying he's gonna petition it. What he didnt realise is the nice little message on screen telling him he created aggresion against the station.

This was quite a while ago and this megathron was my very first battleship.

Lol my first PvP was a 3 on 1, a vigil an incursus and a claw, we were in a system with 3 or 4 armoured assasins thinking there the **** camping .4, (in scorps i believe) so we load out our frigs with EW and and warp scramblers, i (in an incursus) orbited someone with mwd goin and me warp scrambling while the vigil and the claw jam, well the gate sentrys blew him up in absolutly no time, and then we started to work the second scorp, the claw and the vigil were jamming him but he was 120km from me so i couldnt warp scramble, he warped out and the other 2 scorps did to, 15 minutes later a big blob was coming to kill them and choked up when they found out 3 frigates broke up there camp :)

hmmmm my funniest 1 on 1 should be when Plim from Celes Apoc attacked me at gate to Aurohunen in korama system.

He was on a bb and i was dozing off + looking at owerwiew thinking bout what red star in corner of square meant (corp war or allience war )
So i go like damn I'm toast cause a bb vs my Vexor is like mouse vs cat.

But i stood up and fought.

so he activated sensor dampeners upon me so i was 70 secs targeting but anyway i launch my 13 hammerhead drones!! i love the +1 drone per gallente cruiser attribute :P and they start pounding him.

he had launched some missiles on me + my shield was all out and armor tanking on full throttle.

But when all was turning to my sides (my drones were to much for him) he warped out and i started laughing at him in local

My funniest 1-1 was a ganginvite of a noob-pirat.
I was docked at station and he invited my to a gang, i joined and he told me he is in the 4/10complex and needs help.
I didn't trust him and warp to the gate in my domi.
There is a Crow waiting at the gate and starts shooting at me the time i got out of warp.
I counted the seconds down (30seclocktime) then i started my warpscrambler + 2 heavynos and released my drone and watched the Crow go boom.

Mine must be when we had a empire war against Rona corp..

I were in a Moa and fought a Thorax,Caracal and crow..

The fight started against Thorax,kestrel and Crow..
I blew up the kessie and the Thorax ran in structure..
Then i jumped trough the gate and waited for them..

After a few minutes they came back..

A caracal jumped in..I engaged and then a Thorax and crow came.
The caracal went down first..The drones were hurting and i thought it was the end.
Then the Thorax went down to structure and i were out of cap..My scrambler stopped and he ran..
Got confirmed that he had 10% structure left.

The Crow were alone and sat outside my range and fired missiles so i left with 50% armor left.

It was a really nice fight..

my funniest 1v1 was actually like 20v1, I dont remember who it was against but it was by stain/xetic, insurance was running low on my scorp so I decided to suicide it, I warp to a stargate that had an enemy kestrel with about 15-20 enemies in local, pop him and warp to the planet, they warp in frigs and cruisers, 1 megathron, I popped about 4 blackbirds 8 interceptors and 4 frigs before finally going down

A bb challenged my rupture to a 1v1 and after I warped in a rupture and malediction from his corp warped in. I fof'd the bb while I was jammed and then when he went boom I webbed and scrambled + fof'd the malediction and when I started mwding towards the rupture and firing at him he warped

i'd have to say mine was when i first joined snigg, against siobhan of PIE. was leaving kheram in my geddon, after just buying it, approaching the gate, standard gankageddon setup, when i see gate activity, then appears her apoc.

we're at war so we both lock and start giving eacother the good news. her shields fall in a few seconds and she's deep into armor, i'm following fast as she's at good range for her T2 guns to WTFPWN my armor. on goes the repper and i'm thinking "yay i've got the crazy wench!" as she gets into structure. i follow her into structure quite closely thinking she'll be brown bread before i get anywhere near being dead, cos i'm pumping out a hell of a lot of damage... then all of a sudden the overview lights up red and a cloud of heavy drones heads my way. bugger. shortly follows "ship out of control" and a few seconds later i'm mid warp away from the battle scene. i've been left with a severe phobia of drones, and amarrian ladies with apocs

funny thing is i was on my way to the next system to pick up a full hold of ogres...

My first planned 1on1 was in p3en-e . there was a moa there who was part of a neutral corperation. i was in a thorax and looking for a bit of combat so i convoed him and asked if he would like a 1on1 and he agreed so we met at the belt. We locked each other and began to shoot. i had taken out my 8 ogres and had them after him and he target jammed me and scarmbled me so i thought i was dead in water. When my struct came down to 30% he blew up. Good thing for the drones...............

one of the funniest and prolly best fight ive had was in jqa a long long time ago,,

I was autoplioting away in my luvly pre cap relay nerf raven out of the syndicate pipeline, when a megathron jumps in, i have no disruptor but even so i begin to pound away with cruise missiles. The guy isnt doing much dmg and is goin down. Then 2 bb's and a typhoon warp in, ****. The megathron is in structure, I get target jammed and he warps. So i load up the fof's and start pounding away again, tank still holding agaisnt the 3 ships, and a bb goes down to my fof's speeding to their targets Me still tanking the surviving bb gets away and the typhoon runz as well, leaving me taunting them in local

Funniest 1v1 I can remember was in Teonosude, that awfully long warp system.

I jump in and notice an enemy 'rifter' by the gate. So I light him up and let loose, he warps to another gate. I actually thought he'd gotten away then, with the warp being 150 AU and all, so when his 'rifter' appeared alongside me when I came out of warp something should really have rung a bell.

I start a lazy orbit, webbing the 'rifter' and activate my 4 modulated med pulses with multis. Bastard was tough, and he hit back too, I just couldnt understand how a damn 'rifter' could pwn my ass this bad. I kept unloading all I had, running the repper, refusing to bug out of the fight. No 'rifter' would make me run in my Crusader.

I was barely into his armor when I was dead myself.

So I went boom, and my world was about to collapse around me. I'd been beaten fair and square by a 'rifter'

That is, until I got the kill mail, and a corp mate told me in gang:

It was probably today. I passed through an NSN camp in a frigate, warped away, and made it up to my home office. After I docked I noticed Simon Greed from NSN in local. Simon and I have a nice history of 1v1 fights, so I asked if he was there for me. He was! I remembered seeing him in a Wolf earlier, so I figured he probably was still in it. Hopping into my Enyo I undock and go looking for him. Turns out he's in a Stiletto. "Kinda unfair", I think, but we go at it anyways. Surprise! He's got ecm, so I'm soon scrambled and jammed, and he's pecking away at me with the Stilettos little guns. Then he turns on a nosferatu, which gives him enough cap to keep me jammed and scrambled. My Enyo is set up for armor tanking, with a nice cap recharge, so I'm able to keep up with the cap loss and damage. We sit there for several minutes like this, chatting amicably over local, neither able to gain any kind of advantage at all. Eventually a corp mate of his shows up and Simon elects to let me go rather than bring in his corp mate (which just goes to show that Simon's an honorable fellow).

Just the fact that we were sitting there for quite a while, just looking at each other with all his weapons running and my armor tank tanking and nothing happened *****s me up, though.

I can not remember who it was but it was in 0.0 down by hlw maybe in d87. I was in a Tempest and the opposing person was in a raven. I undocked he was 50 off the station so I started movig around to the corner of the station so his missles would never hit me and I was just pummeling him with 1400's was very amusing for me as he never got a shot on me and actually stayed and died.

The funniest incident i had recently was where i was doing my usual rounds in low sec, looking for juicy NPCers and miners to ransom. I was warping through the belts at 60km, figuring that is the range your average NPCing BS would warp at, and i come out of warp right up the backside of a geddon.

Upon further inspection after quickly scrambling him i notice he is hopelessly stuck on a veld roid the size of texas trying to escape

So i go through the usual ruitine of convoing and demanding 20mil ransom for his tier 1 BS, and he says he doesnt have enough to pay, so having taken him down well into struct, i consider my options. I decided offer to pay him 20mil to eject from his geddon

So he ejects and warps off, i say i will pay up once ive got the BS securely in my posession. Then the "DOH!!!!" moment hit as i realised... i cudnt fly the damn thing. So i sit there guarding this geddon, which was on fire, in a belt in a crowded low-sec system. I asked around for anybody i knew who could fly a geddon, and i was just about to give up when somebody came through, and after sitting guarding this geddon for about 20minutes in my mega, adrenaline pounding, just waiting to get ambushed, the guy showed up and we got it safely away

How i managed to convince somebody to eject from a geddon for 20mil is beyond me, as he wud have been far better off just saying "no, kill me".

Piracy shall never die.

jexter attacking me in a crow when i was in my moa quite a while ago .. think this was my 2nd or 3rd cruiser and i was still a noob in my noobishness i had fitted a cruiser size neutraliser : not knowing what they did

Ok, _funniest_ not the best. I'd have to say that it was when a Mammoth engaged me at a 0.2 Gate (no, im not outlaw). Unfortunatly he didn't have any weapons fitted and tried to target jamm me to death. Obviously he didn't last more then a second or two within the sentrygun range.

I have absolutly no clue about what that guy were up to, and i probably never will, but hell i laughed :D

I think my funniest has to be one of the (many) i lost.

I will note that this was in the days of the cruise missile kessies. I also won't say who it was that got me.

I was flying about up near JLO/e02 area inside curse in my kestrel when an ATUK BS passes me, but then in jumps a crow. The crow engaged me and I him.

I was of course quite royaly killed and left in my pod. Rather than bother with instajumping back to HQ to get a new friggy, i waited for him to pod me.

He came in from range, scrambled me and seconds later, i'm dead.

Then i noticed my 3 cruise missiles coming in on his now stationary crow . . . .

*pop*

We both had quite a good laugh about the whole senario.

Funniest 1 vs 1 was back when i was CA.
We were chasing some guys in the bvip corridor . We tried to give them a fair fight but they kept running.

So i started a lill bit of gentle smacktalk just to trigger some aggressivity and one of them challenged me to a 1 vs 1 . He was in a scopion and i was in an armageddon fitted with eccm . So i ask a guy in my gang to check his combat log and tell me how many multicpec this guy has . He had 5 weeeeeee I had just enough to counter his jamming .

Anyway he gangs me and i warp to him . Blew up his ship in about 12 seconds .

Funny thing is , I look at the killmail and see he has T2 Ladar backup arrays fitted ...
So i ask him why he had that on his scorpion and he answers with this : I fight a lot of scorpions ...

I moved stuff from Agile to HLW in my Thorax. Had cargo expanders in low slots and one armor repairer :P

On the way down, my cargo full of good stuff i wanted to transport, i saw a Rifter. Thought, hmm this easy target i will kill on the fly and continue moving afterwards.

To my suprise he didnt run. Fight started and i thought "damn this Rifter" is tough. I was in half armor, when i thought "hmm it should be better to lunch my drones to assist me :D".

I imidiatly lunched 8 Ogre/Wasp mix and they imdidiatly ran away , "**** ******* drones, where you ran i need help here" ... i managed to kill the Rifter, with 50% hull left, when i recognized that this guy was reinforced by a Kestrel and a Caracal, who already started to attack me. My drones didnt run away but engaged automaticly the Kestrel, which was dead in seconds.

With 50% hull left and a Caracal in 60km distance, think he was scared , i didnt have much time till their 20 heavy missiles already in the air would kill me.

I engaged my MWD and my 100mn AB. The missiles were i think 1km away, before i reached the neccessary speed to outrun the missiles :) With 50% hull left not many missiles would have been needed to finish me.

Afterwards i inspected my killmails from the kestrel and the Rifter, which turned out to be a Wolf.

Nowadays, i look first at the info, before i engage in combat

I had a funny 1v1 "pirate style" a little while back. This is actually after exodus and i was shocked to see a ship in 0.4 that wasnt at a complex. Apocalypse at a belt. Warp in with my typhoon, started firing. His shields were down in a couple of volleys. Tried to open a convo to ransom and got a little lag. His pod appears out of his ship and im thinking, "this is laggier than normal" assuming his ship had blown up. He had ejected and warped off in his pod. Felt kind of sorry for him and taught him a few things after, gave him 20mil to get some new stuff. I still had 90 mill worth to myself. That was kind of funny. Just added to the pile of ejected ships.

Funniest PVP I've ever had was in an indy vs an indy. I was mining Jaspet in 0.4 with my cruiser, then came back with my hauler to get my stuff. I already saw there was another guy in the area, and he too had a hauler. Unfortunately, he was heading towards my can. I quickly grabbed my stuff out of the can, and he began targetting me (and I began targetting back).

After we both locked on (after about a minute) we just sat there shooting at each other with weak weapons (I had a medium beam laser I :)).. Eventually after 50 minutes, I blew his hauler up. It was the funniest PVP I've ever had.

Funniest 1 vs 1 was playing cat'n'mouse with the CEO of [SNIGG] and another 2 [SNIGG] in Pator (I think).

They had a Scorp and a Rupture while the CEO of [SNIGG] was flying a short range Tempest.

I was warping from gate to gate, back and forth, trying to force them to keep apart and cover the bases, just biding my time until the Tempest landed RIGHT next to me. Naturally, my Blasterthron was in a prime position to do it's thing and I soon made shortwork of the Tempest and managed to get away before the Scorpion and Rupture caught up.

It wasn't until I later checked my screenshot that I noticed some CA losers in local shouting about "Joshua Safespot" while I'd been pvp'ing

Another time was taking on two STK Scorpions setup for ECM in my Megathron - they both must've warped to me at the instruction of a spy but one of them CTD'd mid-warp. The lone Scorpion didn't take long to die (I'd equipped a LOT of ECCM) and just as I was collecting his loot, the 2nd Scorpion logged back in and landed right next to me. He died too.

Yet another time was taking on a Black Omega Wolf 10 days ago. I thought it was a Rifter so I was confident I could take it on - I did fleetingly wonder why he let me get close enough to web/scramble him but I was too busy firing missiles and staying in scrambling range to care.

He got me deep into armour and, after he died, I checked my killmail and only then did I realise I'd tackled an Assault Frig in my Inty

Good read, MrMorph. And exactly as I recall it. Was a long time ago though, 5 months??

My funniest 1vs1 was me attempting to ransom a Dominix. Sadly, I do not recal the name of the pilot nor the name of the system this happened in. I flew up to a mining Dominix in a belt, warpscrambled and webbed him, shot down most of its armor and opened a Convo to demand ransom. The pilot responded with a friendly chat and we talked about the height of the ransom. As a last comment he said he thought that the ransom was too high and told me I was not in any postion to ransom him anyway. I was not really sure what he meant when he said that, but it became clear to me very fast. After at least three minutes of chatting, probably more, he warped out. He must have had four Warp Core Stabilizers to counter my scrambling strenght.

The funny part is his confidence. He actually sat through the ransom chat knowing he was not scrambled. Best bluff I have seen to date.

The fight with MrMorph was good old fashioned fun. But the Dominix guy outplayed me in the funniest way possible.

JZV-F4, about a year ago. There's about 5 UNICOR (mostly MLM) in system. 10+ TPS arrive in local (nightly occurance at this point), we dock.

After maybe 20 minutes of station camping, Waywatcher asks for a duel out of sheer boredom. I accept. We agree the planet to fight at. He warps, I refit my mega & undock. I very foolishly negelcted to ask hime what he was flying...

I warp to the duel location and am greeted by the sight of Waywatcher in his raven (pre-cap relay nerf)

I'm in a railathron (post-tracking nerf) inside optimal.

Needless to say, 18 minutes later I'm warping to safe in my pod

my favorite 1on1 was me in an Incursus vs. someone from VOTF in a Maller in B-VIP or there abouts. he warped to the gate right behind me and i thought wtf, lets engage. activated mwd, orbit at 500m. On the approach his guns almost teared me apart, leaving me with 8% structure left, but as i got under 1000m from him his guns stopped hitting..

So i was able to kill his ship and even got some nice named/tech2 loot

Me in Iteron MKV versus Frig.
At that time a had NO PvP experice. I flew some modules to a station in deep 0.0. Got targettet by someone, which webbed and scrambled me. Then i lost half my shield in a second. So i though "Arg...you wont get my stuff!" and initiated self destruct (thinking it would happen instantly and I would have no chance against him). But then...no selfdestruct (didnt know a timer was added mand thus startet), and no new damage. Then I saw that the atacker was in a frig (back in the times you could fit cruise missles on them). I startet targeting him with my mighty 75mm gatling-railgun (Skill at 5), and boosted my shields. Voila, shields were back when his next SMs hit me. So I thought "Hey! I could win that one!" And returned fire while boosting my shields. After some time, I had half his amor gone, no amor damage myself and I was laughing that I could beat an pirate while sitting in an indy. Then my ship exploded
The guys was so surprised, that he didnt get my pod. At least

Ship gone, cargo lost, lesson learned

Me noticing a lowlife in local , scanning yes as i thought a scorpion , i took a look at his employment history, aha fairly new to piracy.

I warped into top belt with my Armageddon at 60 km , sure he was there (how unimaginative)sure he warps out and back in at 25 km , i let him close in he locks me down and jams me( he thinks) i let him a bit closer then light up my warpscrambler and 7 laser turrets...his comment in local was WTF , he died 20 secs later.

His pod escape me and i hang around , 5 mins later a corpfriend of his jumps into system , quick scan reval a raven...and then my old friend in another raven , time to rethink my position , i warp to a moon and ask in corp chat if assistance is close ,sure 2 instas tanked Apocalypse of my esteemed friend Siobhan.

I warp to gate and jump out ,i close in on the gate ready to assist Siobhan , she jumps in and warps to top belt , 2 mins later WTM i jump in scramble the same fellow and kill we kill his 2nd bs in 10 minutes,
the can from the first is still there.

We had a good laugh , and never seen those two again.

Funniest 1v1 I've had was myself (Kestrel) vs. Arculus (rifter) from Armoured Core. The corp I was in at the time had declared on them, though amusingly this was where I found out they're a pretty cool bunch.

Anyways, I was pretty hung over, so he starts unloading on me with rockets and autocannons while orbiting me at 8ish km, which I oddly thought was outside web range. Hey, I was hung over, I have an excuse for that.

So I'm just about dead when I decide 'what the hell' and activate my web. My ship goes up, but about 12-16 bloodclaws catch his poor Rifter right at the same time.

Next thing, both of us are there in our pods with dumb expressions on our faces.

Was actually my first 1v1 in a bs too , undocked from imk station to go blood npc hunting (they still spawned there then) and Phonix is outside in a geddon, he was still in m0o back then and as ive found out on many occasions its very rare to see them in imk alone in a bs so i docked figured a small gank squad is gonna warp ina kill me if i engage. He calls me out of the station and tells me to 1v1 him i was pretty much figuring id get ganked if i undock , he says if i undock now it will be a 1v1 no interferance. So i figure why not he gangs me and i undock in my apoc tanked for hunting blood spawns then wapr to a safespot where he unloads on me and i unload back. Lucky for me im tanked agaisnt amarr , he warps out pretty angry thinking ive tanked for him after hes down to about 20% armour and im still on full. Made me smile and was very happy to have won that 1v1 as he tells me he has bs5 and large energy 5 and i havent. Was sporting about it tho

oh and BNC jumped in as we were about to fight then jumped back out apologising cos they didnt know we were having a 1v1.

My funniest was me vs a 23 man SE fleet. after a long day of controlling 4gq, they accually got the firepower to scare off our 4 ships, then they started smacktalking. so i undock, and smartbomb pod 3 of them, get a few more frigs, and then warp out to safety. i warped back in, but they had no small ships left :(

I'd have to say that the funniest 1v1 I've been in happened a couple months ago. I can't remember the guy's name, and I can't llook it up because I'm at work. Anyhow, I was in my crow travelling from empire back to my home in 0.0, and I met a player in a blackbird at a gate. So, I figured I'd try to take him out.. I lock him , scramble him and let the missiles fly, and then he jams me.

Not much I could do, right? Wrong.

Apparantly he didn't have his jammers on autorepeat, so I re-locked him and started pounding on him, and the best part is he didn't try jamming me again! Heh.

I sent him a copy of the killmail and told him to either have auto-repeat on, or be sure to activate modules when necessary.

a crow sit there and camp the gate all by him self, and I uncloak, he start approaching me, lock him up dual web and blasted him with my crisers

its kinda sad... i had 2 encounters 1vs2 raven VS 2xRAVEN...

bit times they warped out in armor...for the tank i used to hold i didnt have any room left for scramblers... IMO a fight where you dont get your kill is not won fight.

Funniest for me was a 1 on 1, my Rifter against a Crow.

I figure I'll probably die but wtf I engage anyway. I web and start in with 280's and light missles. My shields are gone and I'm into armor but the Crow isn't far behind.

Suddenly he stops shooting. I press my advantage. He resumes firing and finishes me off. As my pod warps off I hear an explosion.

At a safespot I check my deathmail. Right under it is a killmail for the Crow Turns out I had a missle in the air when I popped, which took him out!

A convo revealed he ran out of ammo during the fight and had to reload which allowed me to catch up in damage.

Was camping in HED with my Apoc, when a XETIC or SA(sorry can't remember) warps in on me. I start to fire wd ect. He pops drones so I begin to pop mine only I pressed that "show info" button so my screen literally lagged out for a good 40 seconds. When it loads up again i'm down to about 1/4'th armor. I was rather ****ed and warped off leaving my poor drones behind. Afterwards though I couldn't help but laugh at my stupidity.

hmm well.. 1on1. probely the nunniest 1on1 Ive ever had was vs the ceo of carebear exterminators in karan. scorp vs scorps and he logged off... had he just switched to fofs he would have gotten me.

The best 1on1 Ive ever had was vs zarq from teddybears. blasterthron vs raven. Was damn close and had she not warped out she would probely have gotten me. tho she was in 50% armor I only had 1 cap booster left. she had 4 left..

My funniest 1 vs 1 was more like a 1 vs 0.

Back in the old days, our corp was at war with a pirate corp in Aridia. Me and a buddy were flying through a system in our ships, I was in a Scorp. We find one of them in the system, but docked at a station, not coming out. So we leave the system, but I decide to jump back in and warp to the station just in case. Suprisingly, as soon as I arrive, he undocks in a Megathron.

So I start firing and target jamming him, but never getting in range for warp scramblers as this was when you would undock and just keep going. Eventually, I blow him up and get his pod too! While looting his can and his corpse, he finally says something in local, " :( ". I don't know if he was AFK during undock or if EVE didn't load in time, but I still think it was funny.

Hmm, funniest 1v1?

The funniest encounter I've had was back in my belt piracy days. Dropped in on an apoc, locked it down, and knocked it to about 10% stucture. Just as he pays the ransom demand, a buddy of his in a scorp warps in. I'm low on cap, so I just try to warp out, but get hung up as a volley of torps hit me. I start pop-jamming them both as I work my way free, and when I get clear and I'm at about half-speed, I see a volley of torps slam into the side of the apoc, finishing it off.

Apparently someone (i.e his friend in the scorp) wasnt using their autoscanner, and mistargeted a volley of torpedos. Oops. Spent my entire flagging downtime laughing about it with the individuals involved, who had a suprisingly good sense of humor.

Mine was probably my first to. Earlyer that day i had lost my first set of implants and felt so free. Gone was the scarednes of beeing killed and in came the lust for blod.

I was a cruser pilote back then and had my home in nonni. I went straight for aunene and parked my caracal with torps outside centry range which was not so far back then. Its needed to say that i was not a pirate but wanted to become a piratehunter. Well not long after i was ready Cao Cao comes warping in to the nonni gate in his shining apoc. Damn pirate i spat out and opend fire on him with 5 shining torpedos heading his way. Half way to him the centry shot them down and right before he jumped to nonni he laughed in local: "LOL if you want to camp a gate you need guns you nube" .. then he was gone =)

What he failed to realize, is that I didn't have anywhere near enough cap to run the ECM's and scramblers constantly... so at any time he could have re-targetted me, or run away. But he was too busy begging for his life...

My first actual 1v1 was me in my enyo ver The Fiddler in his inty. He challanged so I accepted and somewhat laughed at his silly attempt to kill me AF. Well I made the biggest mistake possiable. I underestimated my oppent and didnt give him the respect as a fighter I should of. And it damn near cost me my enyo..

We warped to a planet and he engaged and orbited me just outside of my range to get a feeel for the setup and ship he was agianst. I myself was still sitting back laughing at his thought that he would even scratch me armor let alone kill me.. We he finally engaged. He started to orbit me and web and opened up with autocannons and rockets. All desgined to hit the weakest part of my ship. THe explosive ressitance. I started up the defender to take care of his rockets and then noticed I forgot to load my short range ammo and looked shocked and horrified to notice i was still loaded for range on my guns. It was to late now. I must win. I engaged the armor repair and noticed we were falling at the same rate. How can this be. He is running mwd he has not resistance to me guns yet my ship is starting to crumble under me feet. The armor repair could not keep up with the damage his autocannons were doing. I was looking at loosing my enyo. My baby. My isk ***** of a ship. Armor gone im into structure and I notice he is too. Finally finally finally I see my mail blink .

I have won.. Not buy much but I have one.
Its not even a fight I can brag about. I should of eaten him alive but he was setup almost perfectly to fight a AF. 400m rolled tungston plates and all..

After all said and done and the GG were given. I have to give repect to my foe. For his damn near took a AF down with a inty.

This by far is one of the best fights I have been in to date.

So whats the funniest 1vs1 you ever expirienced ?

Mine was a 1on1 vs Arestes in Aeschee some time back.
I was NPC'ing in a belt, when he warps in. I had just bought me a
good setup on my apoc, and he was in a raven. Damn, i tought as i saw
the flashing red square 60km off the belt. He's gonna come back, i just know it. Arestes warped out, and, after 30 sec, he came back, 12km from me. He warpjammed me and opened up fire.

Yeeehaaa, ADRENALINE rush; i had never attacked a player BS b4.
I opened up with 1400mm and torps, his first torps hit me, and just blasted away the shield i had left.
His shield kept up atm, and he kept firing and launched drones at me.
I responded by launching drones back, and kept hitting with 1400mm's.
My armor went down to 50% quick, i started my large accomodations.
10% armor, WTF, work reps, WORK!"#%&

20 sec later, armor was back up on a "normal" level.
Now arestes had 50% shield left. My last bit of armor repaired, as i blasted away his torps with a smartbomb.

He was down to like 10% shields or so, and, WTF, he wasnt shooting. And he wasnt moving either.... WTF is this i tought and kept shooting..

Suddenly he speed up, and warped away; i had "won" my first PvP ever !

Afterwards we convoed in local, gf, nice and all that.
He could tell me that he had no more ammo left. And that his cap was
dry after beeing stuck in the roids.

Who knows who woulda won if he didnt get stuck and if he had more ammo ?

My first armortank worked like a charm anyways :)

The funny part beeing arestes out of ammo and stuck.
Not a good day for that pirate ;)
