Edited by: Quartermain Mo''Lathun on 05/06/2005 21:30:20
Edited by: Quartermain Mo''Lathun on 05/06/2005 21:29:28
Edited by: Quartermain Mo''Lathun on 05/06/2005 21:28:57
EVE RADIO COM NET BACK ONLINE

By Quartermain Molathun
Freelancer (IFRO)

After weeks of massive expenditures, transport ships of union workers from stations all over known space, and no small amount of colorful language it is a happy day for the listeners, DJs, management and friends of EVE Radio.

With a re-invention of EVE radio not months into history, all was looking fine as the station looked forward to the busiest time of year. Hopes were high as capsuleers of every type split up almost 2 billions ISK worth of prizes given away during that re-launch week. Plans proceeded with high hearts as a Pilot gathering on the back water world of England at the port of London Station and later in the season at Pontefact station, and even ISD rejoiced as DJs readied for a trip to the ISD home world of Iceland in JOVE space.

New COMNet satellites went along with that re-launch as well as new side channel DJ run dataNets. All was looking chhery and ready for a full invasion of the whole of EVE space. Some standard problems crept into the new satellites, and control hardware and they were fixed by the direction of the stations leader Diaego.

Then recently the radio stations main transmitters began to wobble, COMNets began go dark and even DJ datanets began to disappear from the airwaves. Technical problems built to a heady level as desperate actions were taken to stem the flow.

That was then this is now. With a triumphant cry heard in every DJs ship console and hangar com unit, the COMNets came to life this very day. With the final touches laid on by the mysterious Director of EVE Radio, Diaego, all systems to be full steam ahead again for the group of enigmatic pilots known throughout space, for their antics, music, giveaways, and general lunacy.

The celebrations are a little under the blanket as the new software and interfaces are tested, but optimism reigns as what was once dark now is alive, and the fanatical fans of EVE Radio rejoice.

This is just what we need and the timing could not have been better, commented the services and DJ manager, Baggins. We are still not sure what caused all the problems but the replacement of key satellites and rewriting some system codes seems to have brought us back to life, said Diaego when corned coming out of a data bank feeding the COMNet controls.

There are no clues that would suggest that there was foul play in the damage communication systems, and the staff of the EVE Radio Corporation are now turned to the business of making use of the newly repaired systems. Any investigation into sabotage does not seem likely. We are inviting the whole of EVE space to come by for a visit to the COMNet and say hi, MrBlades, Senior manager and programming director, said to this reporter. We want to put the problem behind us and get back to the business of entertaining and having fun.

go to eve-radio.com today to welcome back the DJ's and staff of the station to the world
or listen in at EVE Radio
