the combat logs are stored in the eve file on your harddrive, cant remeber exacly where but there is a folder called logs i think, its in a different folder to chat logs. try the cache folder. definately there i have used it only last week. it is an exact copy of the ingame one but obviously in notepad format.

The ingame logs are stored in the eve folder -> Capture -> Gamelogs
Good luck on finding the one you want though since it seems to start a new log each time you dock/move to another system so there are plenty of logs reading X:X x.x.x Warping From station A to Stargate B end of log


That's no problem, just look at the size of the file and usually you can figure out which one contains combat logs, 'cause it'll be large compared to all others. Usually the files are 1-2 KB, a combat log will be noticeably larger even if it was a short encounter.

Yeah, all of them are registered now. At least damage breakdowns seem to indicate as much.

As I remember the tool working, you could search for your combat logs by time / date / ship involved. The data given included damage you inflicted as well as damage your ship recieved. It would give information as to who you were fighting, the weapons used, I think when, and I do not think it told you where the combat happened.

All of this was downloadable from the "Eve-I" site. Now this site is down, I do not know where to find any of these programs. I hope someone can find these programs as I would love to get them again. I lost them when I went to Iraq and would love to get them reinstalled.

On the other hand i counted up to 4 combat events happening in the same second so im pretty much sure it logs everything

I never managed to find that, because I planned to parse it at one point to work out some DPS numbers, and I couldnt. It sucked.
