Your right, I had played the beta for months then the Avatars points were wiped but we did keep out names. I had pre ordered so started playing in day one, May 03.. until March 05. So it was not 3 years but 1 year 10 months and 4 days.

The point is I maxed all my skills from beta to the goal of reverse engineering, Duplication, ship building and production... The only existing skill set is my production. The rest no longer exist. Heck the only reasion I came back is a friend told me that reverse was in the next patch. Confused

But characters weren't kept from beta.

If you haven't played for 2 years, then you should only have 1 year of training since the start of EVE, correct?

Anyway In another post someone had made the point that you dont have any traing to start Manufacturing ships. I looked at my Avatar and I see where I have the Ship Construction Skill maxed as well as all of the science and productions skills that were nessary 3 years ago to build.

I looked at the current skills list and almost half of the skills I have no longer exist? WTH I spent over 2 years training up to be able to build crusers, Battle Ships and Titans as well as the Hybrids that were promiced back then.

Most games, when they do something like change the requirements to exclude skills, will let you re-distribute you point to the current requirements.

I'm not asking for a freebe here I just want my time investment in a skill that was removed to be applied to a skill that still exists.

has anyone else run into this?
