2. No difference betwen .4 and .0? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
.4 to .0 Empire, the gatecampers have to be 65+km from the gate, necessitating the use of battleships for ganking. In .0 non-Empire, they get to be more creative about it -- and more certain about kills, I do believe. They just don't get the same ...

3. Cap power realys? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
..if they reduce shield capacity, then they presumably also ought to increase capacitor juice as well, just to keep things reasonable -- and vice versa. This'd have to be balanced against batteries and extenders, though, so as to not make those wo...

4. 'Shard Ideas' - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
..hm. It certainly would be a nifty way of distributing server-load -- create a new network of systems and grant access to it; have it lack NPC pirates 'til storyline and player development in the new systems sets out where 'civilization' is going...

5. sentry guns - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
They work, but have a limited range; approximately 60 to 65km. Player pirates tend to sit at 70km+ range and gun down players who can't respond, as the sentry guns would target -them- if they were to return fire on the pirates.

6. Emotionally torn skillwise - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
Nope; evasive 5 is for interceptors. Evidently engineering 5 is for gunships, missile ops 5 for bombers and sensor upgrades 5 for covert ops/recon. I think. ;)

8. Character alteration during account changeover - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
..problem is identity jumping. Let's say I have two credit cards -- I go out in .3 and gank, gank, gank with a developed character using a battleship. My security rating tanks, but I've got all this great loot! Normally, people'd hunt me and I'd b...

9. Additional corporate options - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
I've been having some thoughts on corps recently -- probably the same a number of people have had before me. ;) First: 'deposit-only' access to some hangars, for example for a reprocessing bay or mineral bay. Second: location-specific grantable ...

11. Returning fire? - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
I was hunting in a .3 system, when a Kestrel popped by and targeted me -- generally circled around and acted friendly like, then finally tossed missiles my way. A question for the future -- can I return fire once his missiles are in the air, or do...

12. Why are offices a limited resource? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Admittedly, it does spread people out -- but having factories and laboratories as limited already provokes this spread with a far more reasonably limited commodity, ones which are far more important for a corp's economic activities. Having a corp ...

14. Why are offices a limited resource? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
The topic asks it all: why are offices a limited resource? Their primary use is to provide a means by which corps can organize and distribute resources, neh? The only real facility provided by the station are hangars -- which stations provide to ...

15. BP for tech 2 construction materials? - in Science and Industry [original thread]

16. War mode! - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]

Edited by: Alessandra on 19/02/2004 08:26:06 Hm. There'd have to be several points here -- in the first place, -taking- material from the cans would have to be the trigger, as opposed to merely looking at the contents. Additionally, there'd ha...
