You need to run 16 missions of the same level to get a storyline mission.

2. Lvl 4s and Tank DPS - in Missions & Explorations [original thread]
EFT defense numbers are rather useless for estimating the tank you need in a mission, as they are based on your average resistances, which are irrelevant as you will usually face only a couple of types of incoming damage. As you gain experience ...

ECCM simply doesn't work against NPC's, period. Suggest drones and patience.

4. my navy raven setup please post advice - in Missions & Explorations [original thread]
Your ship would die pretty quickly in some missions. First of all use cruise missiles. Torps would be better in theory, but in practice covering the distances towards the targets takes far more time. Ideally, you would be using dread or cn cruis...

5. Alt help? - in Skills [original thread]
The best way to increase your incoming isk via an alt, if you do plan to continue mission running is, unsurprisingly, a second raven pilot. A mere shield or energy transfer on both ravens, sparingly used, will pretty much solve all your tanking pr...

6. Cruise Spec - in Skills [original thread]
In fact, t2 launchers don't get much higher rof when compared to arbies, while they do have much higher fitting requirements. However, they offer the following advantages: 1)Significantly cheaper than arbies 2)Higher ammo capacity 3)Ability to u...

8. Overheating; Worth it? - in Skills [original thread]
Well I've had thermodynamics for about a year I think, and while it *could* save you in a hairy mission, it's not worth training for just for that.

9. Overheating; Worth it? - in Skills [original thread]
Very much so if you pvp, not so much if you dont. And higher levels of thermodynamics have a pronounced effect on how long you can overheat mods before heat becomes an issue.

10. Nano Counters - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Originally by: Captator I would argue that boosting the counters and nerfing the high end speed stuff is the way to go, rather than blanket nerfing speed. To this, I must agree.

11. Nano Counters - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Originally by: Sekh Ondaari Typically this idea is used on cerbs or heretics, using precision light missiles. This means you will be dealing full damage up to some 8km/s however... like all the other ideas the best case scenario here is s...

12. Nano Counters - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Edited by: Ashmira on 27/07/2008 15:25:16 In short, no one refutes that if a nano fleet tries to engage a hostile fleet far superior in all aspects than it, it will not win. The point is that nano-fleets can mess around in your space unmoles...

Edited by: Ashmira on 27/07/2008 00:37:31 I think you guys are missing the whole point. The main problem with nano-gangs is simple: They are an excellent griefing tool in the hands of experienced pilots, so much that they diminish EVERYTHING ...

19. What's the best race to roll for a trade alt? - in Skills [original thread]
