1. "Desirable" ship for new pilot to train for? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
More great replies - thank you. As to the question as to why the original character was biomassed; Centauri (the original) was created on the proverbial "day one" of EVE. I was very active for a couple of years, and then... well... Warcrack came ...

2. "Desirable" ship for new pilot to train for? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Extremely detailed - very helpful. Thanks kindly for taking the time to write that out, I'll be book-marking for sure. No doubt your explanation will help many others in my situation!

3. "Desirable" ship for new pilot to train for? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Edited by: Centauri on 15/02/2011 08:24:54 Thanks for the advice; Inty's may be the place to take myself, for now, then. I feel like a traitor for saying it, but I rather like the Amarr line-up of Interceptors, as opposed to the Mimatar ones....

4. "Desirable" ship for new pilot to train for? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Some sound advice, thank you. Minmatar seems the obvious route to go, as I am one. Any thoughts on AF's? Much use for anything beyond engaging frigates? I take it interdictors are (for some reason) unpopular and therefore interdictor pilots ar...

5. "Desirable" ship for new pilot to train for? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
More or less topic question; I'd like to join a PvP corp eventually and serve some use, but it has been literally years since I was "up to date" in EVE; the old character was biomassed some time ago, so this fellow is old only in name. For a new ...

6. Good combat ship class to learn to "market" oneself to decent corp? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Thanks again for the replies; I'm thinking AF's, or Interdictor's... not sure which would be a better investment to specialize in for the moment. I imagine moving up to a Heavy Interdictor (eventually) would be a decent idea as well.

7. Good combat ship class to learn to "market" oneself to decent corp? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Thanks again for the feedback, gents. I tend to agree with the latter two responses that encourage specialization (to a point). If for no other reason than logic, a newer character with less than 20mill SPs (or in my case, less than 10 at present...

8. Good combat ship class to learn to "market" oneself to decent corp? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Edited by: Centauri on 09/02/2011 11:12:51 Interesting replies, thanks again - good to get an idea of "the state of the game", as it were; my heyday was years ago, and the original character of this name was placed in biomass quite some time a...

9. Good combat ship class to learn to "market" oneself to decent corp? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Alrighty, thanks again. I sort of figured the cheaper T2 ships were "where its at" for lesser SP characters (i.e. Inty's, Assault frigs), but I suppose a Cruiser or what-not would be useful too...

10. Good combat ship class to learn to "market" oneself to decent corp? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Thanks for the responses; I totally appreciate that good players matter more than WHAT they fly, but given that this guy is freshly created, I figured that I would useful *sooner* if I try to focus on a particular ship type for now, rather than ju...

11. Good combat ship class to learn to "market" oneself to decent corp? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Errr... thanks for the border-line nasty and totally irrelevant response? I don't need to be told to get some killmails, I'm asking about some ship choices in the long-term. If anyone has a few suggestions, I'd be much obliged.

12. Good combat ship class to learn to "market" oneself to decent corp? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Pretty simple question! Started EVE way back in 2003, day one, and used to "be someone", but stopped in 2005, and have barely touched the game since. I've recently come back, and in a contentious move, biomassed the old Centauri to start fresh (a...

14. Navy Issue Augoror or Omen for missions? Opinions? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I want to run some missions/general PvE in "style", so I'm looking at a Navy Issue Augoror or Omen; no, I do not want to fly some other nation's ship - I am Amarrian, and proud of it (and willing to die if neccessary!) Can anyone recommend one ov...

Going to give this another quick bump. I should mention that I will be GMT-time within a couple of weeks, and will be there for at least a year, so I'll need to be in corp that has a fairly strong Western European contingent, or some very late-ni...

20. Getting ship/items from space-station I can't dock at? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Well, I've been aroud (off and on) since EVE started - I'm an *old-school* veteran. POS stuff and the like isn't terribly familiar to me - I used to be a good battleship and interceptor pilot, that was my job ;) Anyway, I might look you chaps up ...
