Old graphics bug - models of all sorts of stuff (asteroids, other ships, etc.) used to "stick" to your ship when you warped away. If you want to fly a crokite asteroid around, maybe you want a tractor beam? ;)

Harvester drones do still have a use that the tech 2 mining drone can't perform: Anyone willing to risk using them in 0.0 space can mine 2 units of the 16m^3 ores per cycle instead of just one.
