1. eve screen flashing white when undocked and in missions - in Macintosh [original thread]
Well. 10.5.7 fixed my flashes. Fan is still revving. I wonder if the Cider dev's weren't using the new Nehalem Pro's. They had a beta ATI driver on top of 10.5.6 that is included in 10.5.7 (well, not beta anymore).

2. eve screen flashing white when undocked and in missions - in Macintosh [original thread]
It's not just a 10.4 problem. I am on 10.5 and am current on patches and have the annoying flashes. I'm pretty sure it has to do with the motion particles. Since the first mac patch this week this has started happening, together with the fan on m...

5. FYI: Combat in 1.0 is forbidden - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Quote: You *have* to be able to kill anyone, anywhere. Otherwise enemies, afk miners, 1.0 strip mining gangs, will all crowd into 1.0 systems, and never even need a civilian shield booster. A lot of them do it already. And if they weren'...

6. Techell Corp Now Making all EVE Battleships (Possible) - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Edited by: Cyvil on 13/08/2003 17:31:12 Techell is a great company to deal with, IMO. Techell is a very good example of Eve's complex interplays. Algogille is a pretty unspectacular system in and of itself. It was a virtual ghost town until t...

7. Miner II's for sale - in Market Discussions [original thread]
video cards aren't a good example since most of that cost is for covering R&D costs. Since Eve has no R&D that cost is 0. In the case of Miner II's most specifically. Not that I blame them for selling at 5.5. The price for any item is what a buye...

8. Some possible good changes/comments on mwd's - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
I'm finding it difficult to take the pirate's opinion on this seriously. I mean, people are mwd'n outta warp right now and If I look at the map it's still telling me hundreds of ships were destroyed in the last 24 hours. MWD's take an investment ...

9. Accurate BP information please - in Science and Industry [original thread]
It occurs to me that people are basing their price from the print specs, possibly the reason the margins are so slim for EVERYONE. It is also incorrect that if you recycle something you get the print minerals, not the actual minerals. It's broken,...

Just a suggestion, change emp's range to something reasonable.. having the only good anti-shield ammo also be the shortest range is well.. curious? The tracking change is also a bit over the top, I can understand the drastic tracking with the lar...

I probably should have read Gravedancer's entire post before replying, since I didn't get to his paranoid ramblings about SinTek's nefarious plots with eveauction. I think the vastness of space has snapped this person's grasp on reality. I doubt...

17. CCP: Something of great importance to discuss - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
I don't like the idea of a scanner within 1 AU. Remember, 1 AU is ~ 8 light minutes. What you're seeing happened 8 minutes ago. The existing ship radar covers what can really be considered the effective scanning range based on current game mecha...
