2. Help with Assault Frig Choices - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Relatively new to the game on any PVP stuff. I have all the basic stuff about trained for assault frigs. Question is which is more effective solo the Enyo or the Ishkur and how would you equip it? Thanks.

5. How Vulnerable is a Retriever Mining Barge? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Edited by: Daveda on 24/03/2006 15:06:41 Got smoked last night in .4 space. Recovered a strip, Omber and one of the nano panels. Definately a secure space miner or some lonely 0.0 space location with no traffic. Saving for another one and w...

6. No subject - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Got smoked last night in it in .04 space. Recovered one of the strips and one of the Nano panels and a bunch of Golden Omber. Paper thin doesn't begin to describe it. Cool ship, I will just have to strip mine in higher security space.

Edited by: Daveda on 23/03/2006 16:15:03 Originally by: Sovelis I use a 15k scanner on my retriever. Nothing more irritatign than running a 3 minute cycle and getting 50 m/3 of ore. The 15k makes sure you only see what is in strip mine...

Edited by: Daveda on 23/03/2006 13:11:52 Can't equip a small cap any way... maybe a micro. I equiped two nano panels... the cheap ones, 5K isk each. It aligns and warps relatively fast now. Running is the way to go I think. My single middle ...

9. How Vulnerable is a Retriever Mining Barge? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Thanks All. Good stuff. Is the stab as I think... a module to allow the ship to be more agile and align for warp faster?

10. How Vulnerable is a Retriever Mining Barge? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Thanks good tip on getting away from the warp point. I am a noob too to Eve. Been playing a couple of months but not much each day. Is a nano an armor plate augmentation and the stab one of the things that increases agility so I can align to war...

11. How Vulnerable is a Retriever Mining Barge? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
I just got the skill to fly this thing. Before I got out and use it what's the best strategy to keep if from being blown up or held hostage? Align to my warp to a safe spot before starting to mine - got it. What else? Will it warp fast enough t...

15. Mining Barges - Ice Harvester - Strip miners - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Edited by: Daveda on 24/02/2006 21:05:30 OK. But the mid-level barge has 125 CPU and yes a 98% reduction for the devices but the devices require 12000 CPU. So that's 240 CPU with a 125 CPU to mount it on. Still not getting it.

Edited by: Daveda on 24/02/2006 21:00:34 What am I missing here? When I look a the mining barges I see a whole lot less CPU than is required to run the Ice Harvesters and Strip Miners. Even bumping the CPU up can't make up for the CPU needed...

Edited by: Daveda on 16/02/2006 19:32:20 Thanks again. Very helpful. The check box works for the overview. Is there a way to adjust the filter for what the scanners see in the scanner itself?

19. Got Shot down (no whine incl.) - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Nice info. Is there anyway to get an afterburner or MWD to light up as you come out of warp and transit to the next star gate while in auto pilot? Sure would make the autopilot much more efficient.

First of all thanks for everyone's help so far... great, great community to get noobs aclimated. Much better than other online games I've played ... Asheron's call is a close second on help. OK the questions: ... I was fiddling with the scanner. ...
