Getting a high-end heatsink would be cheaper and most likely allow overclocking the 3500+ to 5000+ levels; atleast if you're using the AMD OEM heatsink currently.

Running them in RAID0 won't give much benefits in regular desktop/gaming use, apart from slightly faster loading times (a second or two mostly).

Off the top of my head... Have you flattened the image? Were the transparent portions cut out with feather (or antialiasing) enabled? Also, IE doesn't do transparency in PNG's either last I checked.
