I doubt any faction, fictitious or real, would ever single track their entire military into a single weapon style. But I do agree that there should be more 'uniqueness' to each faction.

Ex Gallente here: used to use rails for missioning. Then realized they are good for aggro then used drones. Maxed out drone skills. Now I am completely Caldari pilot because rails and blasters are that bad.
