1. Still no Sound on Sisi? - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Downloading the full build (103466) worked for me to restore the sound. After applying the 13466 to 105130 sisi patch today, I still have sound. But I do get a windows crash error message every time I exit build 105130 now. So it goes.

2. Best 2 ship mining operation? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Edited by: Hepcat on 06/10/2006 01:22:02 I suspect that an Osprey could mine more per minute (than an Exequror), since it can carry 3 miner II's and has a 20% mining yield bonus per level of the Caldari cruiser skill.

3. Vista and Eve... - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
The prefs.ini file is located in the cache folder in your eve directory. Also, I've heard of many problems with the current ATI Vista Beta drivers, so you might try reverting to the drivers included with the RC1 install.

4. Warp Sound on/off switch - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Here's a workaround... sortof 1) Remap the toggle sound shortcut to something easy to use. I chose Ctrl-Z. 2) When the despicable warp sound begins, toggle sound off, wait 1 or 2 seconds, then toggle sound back on. Your warping will continue wit...

7. Warp Sounds - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
I really enjoy Eve's sound design, but I usually leave audio off because the warp sounds are far too loud (relative to all the other sounds). In the patches without warp sounds, leaving the sound on all the time was very, very nice. Astonishingly ...

14. whats with the no sound during warp, deceleration and decloak - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
The missing warp sounds is a bug (I've already reported it, but more reports won't hurt). You can see in Eve's logs folder that the errors logfiles list the specific errors; apparently some new warp sound files are missing from the current build. ...

Gee Wiz , just clear your cache EXCEPT for the prefs.ini file and the settings folder and you'll preserve your bookmark folders and settings. But do a backup of your cache first. There's plenty of info about this in the forums.
