when I started playing the game 6 months ago, I was making my first money with ninja-salvaging too. I've gotten some faction items from ninja-salvaging missions. Up to 100m for an item. Your "treasure" is really nothing to brag about.

your "helpers" probably dont know what they are doing. One salvager in a dessie is enough. You can always skip looting frigates and taking those capacitor batteries and other heavy loot that doesnt sell. This way you can avoid "paying" to the haul...
