1. Let's call them WPPCs (whinging pseudo-pirate carebears) - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: Asmosis Dude your 7yr old knows a lot more about games than you do. See, hes playing the game for "fun" while your playing it to "work". This is just silly. Only if play and fun existed without benefits, then you would ...

5. Let's call them WPPCs (whinging pseudo-pirate carebears) - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: Delichon The person was engaging NPCs, gankers came to the belt, person warped out, gankerz ASSUMED there had to be a cloak on the raven, since they couldb't probe it out. That's the other probability. Precisely.

8. Let's call them WPPCs (whinging pseudo-pirate carebears) - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I'm getting a little tired with whinging pseudo-pirate carebears (here I will call them WPPCs) on these forums and on TQ. The other day I was ratting in 0.0, in a raven with a cloak, when 6 WPPCs entered my system. I immediately safespotted and c...

10. Solving the Jita and lag problems (serious suggestions, not a whine) - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Edited by: Org2 on 18/09/2007 08:58:50 It is clear that there is a traffic control system in EVE. I often get messages saying a certain gate is closed due to congestion, and when entering a system after downtime, I often get a message that I...

11. Single server versus sharding question (not a whine!!) - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I feel it would be extraordinarily difficult for CCP to shard EVE. The whole game is built for a single-server architecture, and vonverting that architecture would probably be far more expensive and less fulfilling than installing faster hardware...

Edited by: Org2 on 18/09/2007 08:25:14 This is actually not a bad idea, but I would do it differently. Advanced DED connections - Penalizes anyone on a killmail when a combat ship kills an unarmed ship. Imposes a compulsary tax on each item...

13. Drone deploment from battleships - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Of course, an even smarter way to protect drones is to only launch them after all npcs have already aggroed you, in which case they will never change their target to the drones. Just make sure that you can tank. I guess if a 2nd wave arrives, they...

15. Agent/0.0 PVE Raven setup. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Depending on the system, I would put a cloaking device on instead of the gun, and an mwd for quick getaways. These have saved me a number of times from unfriendlies.

16. Remote Drone Component 2 (RDC2) - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
My corp mate has yet to decide what she'll do with it, but this 100 mil bid might push her in the direction of an auction. At the moment the item is in a 0.0 outpost but we'll probably bring it to Empire for auction.
