|1. Networked Sensor Array (NSA) vs Carrier DPS - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
All, The incoming (already here if tomorrow) reduction to carrier DPS isn't the real problem with carriers. The problem with carriers and ratting is the Networked Sensor Array (NSA). This module was fairly recently introduced with the last carr...

|2. EVE Launcher for Linux - in Linux [original thread]
Just FYI....fresh new install on a new laptop today. Fresh Linux Mint 18.2 beta. Launcher ran fine; wouldn't launch the client. Fiddled with it for a couple hours, then installed PlayOnLinux. Client worked immediately. Definitely nice to have...

|3. DX11 with Dev Version - in Linux [original thread]
I think you misunderstand the point. The point is to find out if dx11 works on the 'stock' supplied by the launcher, or dev version wine supplied by CCP...just like on the mac clients. I was asking with the intent of figuring out if it all worke...

Friend, it isn't the dyslexia that is causing there to be no answers for you. We're not quite sure what issues you're actually having. 1) If it is giving an error about steam, that is strange, because it doesn't seem like you installed the steam...

|6. DX11 with Dev Version - in Linux [original thread]
Alright, so I'm guessing after a week of no reply, that nobody is getting dx11 to work on the supplied version of wine 2.6. I've tried a few things and not gotten anywhere it seems. Roughly 60% of the way through the log I see a little red error...

|8. Announcement:119.5 - Feedback & Issues (Mac) - in Macintosh [original thread]
I mentioned this in the other feedback thread, but it might be more applicable to Mac clients. I'm on LInux, but basically the wine emulation is the same. No asteroid environment in ice belts anymore. Regular belts are fine. Just no little float...

|9. Announcement:119.5 - General Feedback - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
I guess I'll chime in even though I usually consider these threads to be useless idiots crying. The sound sliders need to be brought back. My 'Music' level is at 5...and the music is still wildly overpowering. I love the old classic music. But I...

|10. DX11 with Dev Version - in Linux [original thread]
Ok. So the other day I had some horrible horrible instability and crashing. I cleared the cache, and then used the settings in the launcher to bump up to 'dev versions' wine. This fixed my instability. I Selected ccp-master dev branch and wine ver...
