1. Abuse of Trail accounts - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
It seems to me that the solution to this is actually pretty simple. Don't just ban the trial accounts, ban the real accounts that are spawning them by sending out the activation codes.

3. A semi-vet's take on the Learning grind. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: Tabet Saens Why does everything in this game require immediate tangible benefits? It doesn't. I'm just pointing out that you're going to loose players because you're artificially slowing down a game that's already slo...

Originally by: Tabet Saens Originally by: Ragson Eve is the only game I know where the worst grind is reserved for newbies. Hardly. I remember "way back when" lol (I'm only 5 months old), how quickly skills were gained. Level ...

5. A semi-vet's take on the Learning grind. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
As a player, the learning skills didn't really bother me. I waited till about 2 million skill points before training any past level 4 so I had a lot to do while training them. Plus, they appeal to the math geek in me. :D Having said that, I just...

Originally by: Adam Weishaupt Market regulation by CCP? No, no, no. This isn't a planned economy Not that I care much about T2 prices but it is a planned economy, or at least it works like one. The government (CCP) decides how many ...

8. Heavy Nosferatus...the pain. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I can't help thinking that this is a case of 'careful what you wish for, you just might get it'. A smaller (faster) ship in eve can dictate the terms of a battle. Whether it wants to engage and at what range that engangement will take place. Th...

Originally by: Joerd Toastius 3) That said, there's no real rush to BS from an agenting perspective. The only thing you need a BS for is L4 missions, and you're going to die a lot in those until you have a lot of SP, as far as I can tel...

11. First Cruiser - Rupture Help - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
A webber was enough for me to hit pretty much anything in a level 2 mission with my 220ACs. For lvl 2 missions, I'd use a webber, AB and a target painter in the mid slots. Occasionally I'd switch out the painter for a cap booster for the really to...

Thanks for the info. I had checked out the tracking guide before asking but missed the answers to those questions because I'd ignored playing around with the graphs on the last page. That would have answered most of my remaining questions.
