Same here My CPU is at his overclock limit too :/ AMD 1055T 2.6Ghz @ 4ghz overclocked for EVE... and fun ;) EVE now stay under 80% with my max OC.... But still less FPS.

Check if you have an update for your video drivers (in the system update). MESA got his version 7.11 released last week. If the Mint dev made the package for this version, it will fix your problems.

You need Mesa 7.12-Devel. I'm currently searching of a procedure exist for Mint 11. I know that Mint 12 come with 7.12 but still, someone may have made package for 11 somewhere. Else, you will have to compile them (libdrm and mesa) manually. Q...
