1. Tech 1 Cruisers have any use in PvP? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Cruisers are great for pvp. I like using 'em to pirate in. Although battleships can be a real problem without ecm backup. As others have mentioned, Thorax, Vexor, Rupture, Stabber, Blackbird... all good for pvp and not too pricey either.

2. Low Skill Imicus - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Why not try two 125mm rails instead? Easier fitting and better tracking.

4. All pirates are so bad? - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
I actually do feel a slight twinge of guilt if I realise I just ganked a noob in a mining frig or something. But you know, some days are quiet and you take whatever targets you can get. The guilt soon passes

5. pirate hunting - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
If you have your heart set on hunting pirates you could always try and join a pirate hunting corp. Train for a fast frig (such as a rifter or incursus) and the skills needed to use an afterburner or microwarp drive, stasis web and warp scrambler. ...

6. 1.0 can theft gank? - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Thing is, it's not a trick. A big warning sign pops up saying "don't nick this stuff or you'll be flagged a criminal". It couldn't be anymore obvious really. So no, I doubt very much CCP are going to do anything about it.

Lol, had to reply to this one. I'm sure I know which system it is cause I got stuck there myself a while ago. I was cruising around in my Vexor looking for trouble and made the same mistake - I forgot to notice that they were all in the same corp....

8. gallente frigate.. or more advice - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
If you look at the ship bonus it should give a good idea of what role it would suit. For Gal frigs, they could be loosely defined as: Atron - very basic fighter Imicus - kind of a drone frig with surveying bonus, useful for scouting with probes I...

Osprey is a Caldari cruiser. Vexor and Thorax are Gallente cruisers.

10. Drones - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Uhm, I think the Osprey has some drone space and a mining bonus. Might be a good one to aim for. No idea about mining drones though, sorry. As for attack drones, well they attack things for you

11. Ideal 4-ship fleet - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Well if you're talking short term for new chars, maybe: 1 Rifter to tackle 1 Blackbird for EW support (or maybe a Celestis with sensor dampners?) Then pick 2 from the following for some damage: Rupture (with AC's and a gyro or two) Thorax (with...

13. Help with weapons - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I would honestly recommend against splashing out a lot of isk for named stuff whilst you're new to the game. The regular tech 1 items work perfectly well and you won't lose a fortune when your ship gets popped by rats (NPC or player). If you find ...

18. Rifter for PVP? - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Yeah I'd go with the AB myself. MWD makes you a nice fat target, which is never good in a frig. AB on a Rifter should give you plenty enough speed to close in on your target and you can then leave it on whilst orbitting to keep you traversal up. A...
