I think it would be good to have an official war board that just recorded stats for each corp in a war, i.e. no player stats and only war related stats. It is very annoying to read forum posts where both sides claim victory and dispute killings.

Derek: I can see the appeal of the changes you propose but I think they are too extensive and would require 1) too much coding work by the devs, 2) too much server processing and 3) would be too 'twitchy' which wouldn't suit an MMO game subject to...

I think you answered your own question. POS are supposed to be PvP items. This game is supposed to be at heart a PvP game. As you said empire space has NPC stations and so don't need POS.

How about a new high slot module that allows you to 'tag' another ship. Once tagged you can then see what system they are in on the map and also if you are in the same system then you can 'warp to' the ship. The tag could last until the ship docks...

What would be the objection to modules degrading? After all it would mean that a player would be able to buy cheaper 'used' modules on the market. Want a 50% used apoc? maybe only cost you 70 mill instead of 120. Sounds good to me.
