I think your thread on the ubuntu forums gave you a nice amount of results. As I already mentioned on the cedega website, the intel graphics chipset is officially not supported. But the offered work around mentioned there might work.

I have seen this as well, what sometimes makes it disappear for me is mess with the graphics settings a bit or clear the cache. But it will return, hopefully the improved mac client when it ever arrives will make it all better.
