The POS bubble and POS module in question have to be configured with Allow Alliance Use (or whatever the exact wording is). It should be fairly straightforward if you look at the interface (I don't have it in front of me ATM).

You can only put one material at a time in a silo and it can only have one input and output at any given time. So, unless you have 6 silos (5 + 1 for the output), it won't work.
