Ok, I want to make a certain item, let's say rocket fuel, which means i will need electrolytes and plasmoids. Since electrolytes and plasmoids are both found on different planets, can I automatically have the electrolytes that are mined on one planet transfered to the lava planet where i get the plasmoids?
I figured there is a way to do this , but I don't have any idea how. I would have my advanced facility on the lava planet where the plasma was being made, so I need a way to get the electrolytes down to the surface of the lava planet, so I could make the rocket fuels.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated. |

if using 2 planets
export on planet one, pick up in customs office, fly to planet 2, import |

So, what happens after I export them?
You didn't answer anything. Do I need to manually fly them over there? Or what would be the easiest step after that? |

see that's what i thought.
I tried to do that, but when i tried to drag my items into the customs office hanger, it said that i wasn't allowed to do that.
why did it say that?

Do you have permissions to use the Custom's office? If your in Null, the owner of the space owns the custom offices and I think can set who can use them. Also We need more information on your issue. |

Did you export them from your planet to the customs office? You need to do this within the planet editing window (export using the launch pad).
Once the items have been launched to the customs office they should show up in the customs office window. You'll have to drag the items, see the isk tax. Get a bit pissed off and complete the transfer. |

I'd suggest reading any of the numerous PI guides out there too before running to the forums with questions.

normal process is this:) then you tell us where you got stuck:) but the tutorials are verry good. So you have you Gas command center in you cargo, you have sov you are alowed to put down command centers, so now you hit submit. Next you look where you want to put the extractor or only the factory no matter...but let;s say you put extractor, next LANCH PAD...next basic industry. Now if you do not put LANCH pad you may not import export any thing....so you must absolutly have one...then for storage is ok to have also the storage. Ok next you make your chain and you produce p1 from RAW so you got Oxygen, next you need electrolites same procedure all over again. The way i do it I put on each planet a 10 head extractor 5 basic and 5-6 advance and 1 lanch pad, and 1 storage. so this way for 2 days i do not touch the chain. so i make like localy the coolant. So hope you have all you need. if not convo me and we talk more 10 k isk/min:) Later. |

Why use storage when you could just route everything to a well placed spaceport?
This saves cpu and power on the storage item itself as well as the links.
I don't know why it's difficult for people to understand this, unless they're getting over 10K m3 of PI faster than they can turn it into the compacted p1-2 item, and in empire this wouldn't be the case unless you leave it churning for at least 5 days if not more.
Think of a wheel, at the centre of your wheel is your spaceport. The extractors are located to cover the best area at the time, and need not be part of the "wheel" shape. What is important is that the extractors are linked directly to the spaceport. The command centre does not need any links at all. With the p0 coming in to the spaceport, set up the basic and/or advanced production stuff as close to the spaceport as possible to keep the link costs low and route p1-2-3 out of the basics and advanced back in to the spaceport and the required p1 items in to the processors.
PPP E-------PSP-----E C PPP
S- Spaceport E-Extractor P- Processor. C-Command module (not linked to anything)
I know it wasn't the exact question, to which the answer is - no you can't have materials from one planet magically appear at another.
You have to export and OKAY each move. to Export items, drag from the right panel to the left panel. to Import drag from left panel to right panel.
The items will be/have to be stored at the orbital custom office.
Hope this helps. |

They did buff the storage facility now. I've used it in situations where I don't "need" a spaceport "there"
e.g. instead of doing something like this on a factory planet
(BIF or AIF cluster) -- LP -- LP (BIF or AIF cluster)
get a little extra storage space for the intermediary stuff with replacing one of the LPs with a Storage. Then again, there are benefits to the 2x LP route... |

Actually, we do need more info. But TBH, your responses are so vague, this seems to be leaning towards Troll.
But, I will depart with this:

I find it really hard to believe that with this many responses nobody corrected you in that Plasmoids AND Electrolytes are both in existence together on each and every Storm Planet. There isn't anything left for you to do to Carebears. -áGo, kill them some more. They're like fungus or bacteria, they won't die and they won't stop. Ok, so im not wanting to be obnoxious, but look. Its obvious you have been playing, and active on the forums, for a while. You know alot about eve.... but. just try not to be so, abrasive. If they are asking a newb question, maybe they are a newb... we all were one. If someone tries to answer them, and they miss something, maybe they made a mistake... we all do it.
Like i said, not trying to get on your case, but i have been reading and pretty much every post you have across the forums is negative, know-it-all, and rude. This is a GAME (granted a highly addictive one), relax and let people have fun. |

Short answer, no.
Long answer, noooooooo.
Explanatory answer: Nope, you've gotta move stuff between planets yourself. As a capsuleer, you can't have stuff moved by NPCs except on the planet itself. Space travel is YOUR job. Just get a T1 hauler. |

A lot of the time those who are posting such things are just trolling. The fact they said no plasmoids or electrolytes on the same planet is a small hint that this is possibly just a joke, 'lets drag them along for an information ride'. A real noob especially would have thoroughly examined each and every piece of information about what is where, and would have discovered the fact they are both on Storm planets early on. That's obvious. Instead he just makes a wrong statement....
Also, note the OP NEVER got back to the thread at all after post #7, which is something that has a really obvious answer. Post #5 mentions a warning that nobody I know has EVER seen.

The only one coming across as trolling is you, but let me touch upon a point that you're intentionally ignoring: maybe it's not so much the fact that nobody is RAVING that those two P1's exist on a single planet as much as it is that one or the other is in such low supply as to not be worth setting it up on that planet! But I'm sure you, not trolling, took that into account and just CHOSE to ignore it.
Second, if you try to drag a commodity fro your cargohold DIRECTLY to the planet launchpad in the CO, you *will* get an error. If you have to drag from cargohold to CO, *then* drag AGAIN to the LP hold. It's rediculous, but yes, you get an error. The OP's message on the error was not exact text, so we (yes, that includes you) must make assumptions about where and when the error occurred. |
