Hi all,
after 4 years of running around doing things in EvE I thought it might be nice to try something new. Production caught my eye and I happily went on with it.
Now I found there is a plethora of programs out there like isk per hour or evemeep, that allow me to calculate a certain amount of production cost per bpo/bpc. That itself is a great feature, thanks for your hard work guys.
What I have yet to find however is a possibility to STORE these production costs on a per lot basis.
Lets say I can buy the raw materials for 4 x item A on monday for 500 each and on tuesday for 2x Item A for 750 each.
Now if I could store my lot costs I'd know that I can sell 4x Item A for 600 but not 5, if I still want to make a profit.
After the lot is sold I simply would delete it. Of course I'd always try to set the lot price on the most expensive lot, but it would kinda be nice to know with how many units I could undercut in case things went south.
At the moment I keep track of this in an Excel Sheet, this is rather tedious. So if someone has come across a software that possibly can do what I need and maybe also provides Names and raw materials for bpos, please point me into the direction,
I do not like web services, as they have a habit of being shut down on short notice and I would not like to have my trading/ production data gone in a second....
Any help is very much appreciated

There is EVE-Cost which stores items to warehouse with their cost and calculates average price according to quantities, if that type of item already exists in warehouse.
URL : http://www.eve-cost.eu/
Also has automatic warehouse updating from API market transaction fetching.
Unfortunately for you, it is a web service, BUT as the owner and developer of the service. I guarantee you, I will keep this service updated and alive until EVE breathes!
All in all. The choice is yours. You take the red pill or the blue pill. What is this sorcery?

Hi,
Please do not get me wrong, what I write now I mean in a strict IT context of trust, not my personal opinion towards you.
Now that that is established. I do not trust your website. I do not trust that there is not something weird going on with my data. For example the capability from your end to see what people are producing and influencing the market with that knowledge. Lastly I do not trust that this service will remain in the price scheme it is, once enough people are dependant on your service or albeit you said it won't happen that I find myself unable to reach said data because of discontinued service.
I am not a fan of webapps and will never be.
Thank you for your reply, but I stay still searching.
If nothing comes up, it is time to put my own mediocre coding skills to the test once more :)

Mate, after he has offered you an alternative possibly not what you wanted but still given you one and you say its not a personal attack on him with your statement but thats the same as saying oh i hope this doesnt offen - then everyone known it will. If you didnt want to use his service you could jus say thank you but no thanks. I have read what you wrote as a slap in the face to that developer.

I am sorry you misunderstood. But chain of trust is a IT term. That's why I wrote that in the first paragraph.
While I may be a totally trusting person towards you and the poster before you, I still may not be inclined to trust you with my data in an IT sense.
You catch my drift? This does not apply to this specific program alone. Neither do I trust Facebook for example. A problem of applications in general, that take away the control of my data from me if you will.
No insults intended.
