Yeah I did these after I read the Empyrean Age novel and I tried picturing the cast for a possible EVE Movie. For example Shakor is supposed to look like Bruce Willis and Heth like Edward James Olmos.

Wow, this is pretty impressive work! I've tried to get into painting but I've always fallen flat on my face. I always admire the people who have this kind of talent.
On a side note, not sure about Olmos as Heth.

First, thanks  , you should keep trying to paint, I've been drawing and painting since I was five (started by copying pictures from comics) and I still feel that I'm an amateur compared to others (or everyone) but I love doing it.
Second, I thought of Olmos because I would absolutely love to see him play Heth.
The powerful dictator who is on the road to madness. In the book he goes from an activist that goes out of his way to ensure no-one dies to the man that started a new war with the Gallente (with the broker's help). It's so different and at the same time so similar to what Olmos does on Battlestar.

Olmos isn't a bad choice at all, I just think there are better ones, if only because I'd laugh a little if I saw him in the role.

Yeah, but how many Caldari died taking Caldari Prime? He didn't care at that point, gone was the man from the start of the book.
I do see your point about Olmos though... not sure who else could pull off Heth. Ian Holm would have been great but he may be a little to old for the role now.

Right, as he was literally handed more and more opportunities he took them, because he is a Patriot and that bloc believes strongly that owning Caldari Prime is the right of the Caldari people and that it is a worthwhile goal to take it back and resettle, no matter the resources necessary. He would even upstage other Patriots he thought less worthy because of their domestic agenda, but it re-energized the bloc. He believes it is the duty of the Caldari people that they secure their homeworld, and so do many other Caldari, at least a third of them.
He always cared about Caldari suffering in his own xenophobic way, and no doubt that he's selfish, but many Caldari would willingly die for a "stupid piece of rock." So in a way, he wasn't asking for much.
He is a tragic sort of figure, but he was always mad, and any progression was minimal as he was readily associated with terrorism from the start.
By contrast, Adama went from seeking revenge to seeking peace, perhaps because war drains even a hardened military man, and also because he came to understand the ambiguity of the Cylon nation. This isn't something that would happen with Heth based on our understanding of him.

I'm obviously not the only one that spotted Adama, so lets find out who the rest are. I see: Gaius baltar = Foirtrain, Admiral Adama = Heth, "Boomer"/Sharon = Caldari female, and "Racetrack" = Gallente female.
