UI sounds are VERY quiet now. I literally cannot hear hardly any of them and they're the only reason I really play Eve with sound (tactile audio feedback.)
Example: Menu sounds, or the fitting window sounds are very quiet. Need stuff moved? Push Industries will handle it. Servicing highsec and lowsec - and we do it faster and more reliably than anyone else. Ingame channel: PUSHX |

No, but really, nice work. In both regards to the patch and the downtime. Impressive sirs and madams. My moncole doubles as a cigarette lighter, a flashlight, a laser and x-ray goggles. If you haven't noticed yet, I'm in love with Punkturis. -á-á-á

Actually I really like the launcher. Especially for small patches it's awesome not having to start the game just to close it again. Admittedly less helpful with big(er) patches like this. But yes, it is useful! I don't use any of the links (as they still don't work!), but for the patching-without-starting-client part alone it's pretty decent in my book! |

Yeah, I thought I would hate the launcher, but I've been really happy with it. All those little patches are so much easier and it actually makes opening a bunch of clients slightly more convenient.

On the contrary, they're still missing some relatively common items...implants, to be exact, which include:
Michi's Excavation Augmentor Akemon's Modified 'Noble' ZET5000 Genolution Core Augmentation CA-1 and CA-2
The first two are cosmos implants, the second two are gifts, both are still relatively common and really ought to have market categories. I'd love to hear from CCP why they left them out. |

So far everything looks awesome, but I do have one little gripe ...
The way items are now sorted in the market kinda blows. I liked it much better when, say, all of the 125mm Autocannons were grouped together. Having 125mm, 150mm, and 200mm T1 at the top, THEN sorting the named variants by type, and THEN having another 125, 150, and 200 at the bottom (for T2) makes everything more of an eyesore.
It was much cleaner and easier to digest when it was sorted by type.
Phenominal work overall, though. You get an eyepatch! I'd rather die in battle against a man who will lie to me, than for a man who will lie to me. |

I'd love to hear from CCP why they left them out. Also rare ship "Apocalypse Imperial" (only 3 in game) has been on market for some time while "Raven State Issue" (only 4 in game) is not. So there doesn't seem to be much logic about which rarer items are on market and which are not.

One problem I have found is when copying from Transactions into Excel, the Credit table carries over the String "isk". This means excel spams out and I have to delete the "isk" when i should be adding them up.
Solution:
1)Allow users to toggle the ISK string on and off. 2) Get rid of the isk string in the Credit table...
Anyhoo, enjoing the new tweeks to the UI.

I hope they'll add the positive buffs too, so I can quickly eyeball whether the fleet composition is properly giving the best buffs. Failed again.... The only escalation in this patch is price escalation and it makes the game worse,
higher prices = less carnage = less fun
Why harm mineral supply to the market? Reducing the mineral supply makes life worse for many through increased prices. Why remove so much mineral supply from the game with no compensation from other routes. ie. If you take out t1 modules from loot and take out rogue drone loot then mineral supply will drop significantly, have mining yields been improved to compensate?.... No. It would make mining more profitable (greater isk/hr) and help keep prices down So now lots of players who want to blow ships up are going to have to grind even more hours to cover their own loses. More bore less fun.
Ah the good old days when T2 cruisers were under 100mil, i remember them well.

Above is false. Drones do not drop anything(Malpais). Bounties are not even 50% of regular rats.
drones: BS class - between 480-560K Cruiser class - 150K
Angels: BS class - between 1.5mil-700K
Is this going to be fixed?

Ok. Hopelessly longwinded rant coming:
How can NPC Rats suddenly stop dropping "un named" t1 modules, yet continue to drop the named variations? It just kills the realism of ratting in the way that,
A) a Named t1 module will survive the destruction of the ship, where a un-named version wont, (then why doesn't the named versions have extra hp/overload damage resistance bonus to show some hint that they are more hardy and therefore more likely to survive when the ship they are mounted on 'splodes because you have shuvved a rail gun round through it) B) The rats themselves, though dropping named modules do not seem to be equiped with the modules when alive and trying to kick your head in. (for example, I killed a Guristas Cruiser that was firing rails at me earlier, only to find a named Blaster )
It also effectively cuts down a source of income for mission runners, explorers and ratters as the missions arn't that well paid anyway. 700+k isk for a level three mission (sometimes less) with a 500-800k bonus and maybe bounty prizes, when you are risking at least a BC worth 55m before fitting!. The loot and salvage (ok, built up over time) when sold or reprocessed keeps the wallets of the mission runners going so that they can afford to take the risk!.
If you are going to do this, increase bounty prizes, and Mission rewards to match the risk put in. Honestly, sometimes i see a mission that could easily cost me upwards of 70m if I lose the ship I am using with a MEESLEY reward of just over 1m. I wouldn't care if you needed to tweak the ratings system so it took longer to get to the higher paid missions, but seriously this IMO is an issue that IS NO WHERE NEAR sorted by simply cutting out something that, over time gives mission runners a bigger payout than the last ten missions they ran.
Id post more, but I need to think about it.

So. Looking at the list of changes: -No drone poo=much less minerals -No T1 drops=chance for hisec miner/self-sustained manufacturer gone -High minerals now have monopoly in lowsec/nullsec/wh. No other source of supply (reprocessing named stuff is mostly bad idea). Was drop rate for named stuff set to compensate for T1 stuff removal anyhow? -Mass move of miners to nullsec=not going to happen. Regardless that you have pretty much eliminated high sec production of some minerals, there still are far more lucrative things in nullsec (exploration, anomalies, mooon mining) to do than mining, plus mining is not too much fun, plus most people that do it are doing it semi-afk way which is not optimal for nullsec. It may easily go up to the point where nullsec miners might produce enough for their alliance but not much extra to get into prices at trendemous prices little to noone in hisec will be able to afford. Doubt big time that nullsec alliances would establish combat patrolls for miner protection beyond what they need for their own use. -Salvaging ships (introduced rather recently) are also becoming less useful with this change -Two years back, salvaging was nerfed -This seems like another significant mission running nerf (especially for less skilled players where loot collecting was quite nice thing to have when kills take forever. -I'll be happy if I'm proven wrong, but at the moment above seems to be the way things will go.

Love how you sold that on the feature page, btw; no more hauling cargobays full of alloys. Like it was a chore. Nah, we love hauling cargobays full of veldspar, much more lucrative, no?
Fail. But I'll sell you 500mil isk hulks, three billion isk carriers and far overpriced other ships, very soon now. Good for the newbies, gives them their first year goal to get in a drake. They'll be able to fly it in a month, but afford it....now there's a whole new ballgame.

Yeah, hate those lines too! Thought it was a bug first :P The expensive stuff in the market is really cool though, that's an awesome addition along with the effect bar.

Market lists being ordered by meta level are now confusing.
Ammo, drones, ships and random crap are all still alphabetical, while modules are in meta order, makes shopping for a quick fit, or just browsing through the market time consuming as well as an additional eye sore.

You mine with, mining ships. Income made with mining, might be anywhere near other sources of income.
Give it maybe if mineral supply is reduced signficantly yield could be increased, who knows? |

But is it a plan for the future or is it just conjecture. I also understand that it might not happen at all if its just a spit ball but is it being discussed as a feature that might be implemented sooner or later in any seriousness. |

You stand to make just as much mining in empire, if not more, miners win everywhere. whiners got to make sense, I doubt the lot of people whining ever touched a exhumer or know what one is. In line 3, please replace miner with mission runner. Should make more sense now. As for the rest: -you could get some materials from T1 drops and drone poo that you can't mine in hisec, and there are lot of minerals that have terrible rates in hisec. That part you cannot get in hisec anyhow except from buying from lowsec/nullsec/wh. And I doubt that this part will be offset by larger miner population in nullsec, just too many material dropped from the loop for that. In the end it can be expected that base minerals will rise a bit because of reprocessing decay, it will still mean that high end ore will skyrocket because there just won't be sufficient supply. So it will give great income boost to large nullsec entities that already have multiple sources, for the others there seems to be only evening out at best (miners) or decay (mission runners). Not to speak of starting players - yes there will be lot of industry production potencial that was just not business with stuff being dropped, but all that will put more pressure on mineral supply too so it may become especially pain in the *** for newbies.

Deadspace, officer, COSMOS, and faction items being in the market is great. No problem with that. But searching for many module types is now a pain in the ass. I hope CCP will reconsider the drones. They have bounties now, and salvage, but they have nothing else. Any pirate faction rat has a bounty, they still drop something, salvage, and there's chance of a faction/officer spawn with valuable loot. I'm all for balancing, but this seems a bit unbalanced in the opposite direction.
Other than that, this has been a textbook update. Well done CCP techs! |

Ill say this ones more in there, as i already mentioned it else where.
I envy the fact CCP wants to take on the long whined about industrial part of the game, how ever i think the changes on this patch are badly balanced. If you want people to mine again you should take on the profession itself, and not cut down the few minerals that drop extra to compensate for the fact people aint mining.
You might actually be supriced that if you make mining more "fun" and more interesting to do that more people might actually do it and get those minerals in. Specially high-sec mining should be loads of fun now for the gankers in eve, and with the upcoming hulkageddon. I think i might actually join in the ganking fun this time, there should be loads of targets now cause your totally making mineral price + ship price go ********. Have you guys not been paying attention to most suggestions made by player/miners over the years in the suggestion section of the forum. I sure there are a lot of hint that could have told you these changes are not gonna work ....
So plz Fix mining, and give that small amount of T1 loot back to the mission runners, the builders actually buy that of the market to compensated there our lack of interest in mining. And while you are at it plz also make something drop from drones so its worth it for the once doing the salvage profession.
With that being said, what the hell did you do to the ship readout thingy, those lines OMG how ugly and not even aligned either, remove or restore plz !!!! And stop messing with the volume control and font size aswell.
Nice work on the on-time deployment tho, havnt seen that happen for a loooooooooooooong time. |

There is still fair amount missing from the market. There is fair amount of manual labor that needs to be done to add stuff on the market but in this case I wrote a simple script that took a module looked at if it was a variation of an existing module and if was we put it in the same market group as that one.
When adding stuff to the market we need to take care not to make it more cluttered. We probably need to take a step back and decide on more sane categorization of stuff on the market at some point. https://gate.eveonline.com/Profile/CCP%20Tuxford/StatusUpdates |

Drones should have identical bounties to other rats. That said, if you're seeing BS below 500k, you're probably looking at deadspace (ie, exploration/anom) rats, which are typically ~50% of the value of asteroid belt ones. All belt BS should be 500k-1.85m

Pretty much this... how is it fair that drones now have the exact same isk price tags on them but don't drop anything or have the chance at rare spawn and loot? I can understand taking off the alloys but this makes it unequal in the other direction, they should have been brought in line totally before losing alloys.

All belt BS should be 500k-1.85m Demarcus G1 wrote:T1 ammo and combat drones are still dropping (at least from belt rats). Looks like you missed those when adjusting the loot tables. I can understand taking off the alloys but this makes it unequal in the other direction, they should have been brought in line totally before losing alloys. Clearly it's CCP's way of saying: "We changed your space - if you don't like it anymore, go fight for better systems". Because that's what CCP wants, a constantly changing universe instead of balanced, homogeneous space (and because Inferno is all about War).

Above is false. Drones do not drop anything(Malpais). Bounties are not even 50% of regular rats.
drones: BS class - between 480-560K Cruiser class - 150K
Angels: BS class - between 1.5mil-700K
Is this going to be fixed?

Is the overload problem a bug or not ? when you overload and get damage, you can't overload your item again. Even if the module is 0.01 damaged, you won't be able to re-overload it .
You need to repair it if you want to overload again. And it's a huge problem in figths. |

When I was able to log in, couldn't use the Orca's Corp Hangar.
Now, the client won't start, "verification".
If you are getting verification errors upon starting the client after patching please try this workaround:
GÇóTo force the launcher to re-patch your client you can browse into the client (Show Package Contents) to EVE Online.app/Contents/Resources/transgaming/c_drive/Program Files/CCP/EVE and delete a file called common.ini before restarting the client again
No help....
Please fix the problem. Don't you guys test your software before release ?

I very much like the ability to copy things from the market, especially transactions into excel. This really helps when selling a bunch of loot and having to divy up shares to others and being able to rapidly pick out stuff that was loot from my other sell/buy orders.
My one question, and maybe I'm just not enough of a excel guru, but for instance in the wallet under transactions you have under credit how much you made/lost in a number ie " XXX,XXX.XX ISK" then in the next column is again a whole column dedicated to the type of currency with "ISK" (and yes I understand that it could say Aurum.) Well its a bit redundant first of all. But its also a pain when you import into excel and all the numbers have "ISK" after them. Perhaps there is a quick way to cut ISK off after all those numbers but I can't seem to find it and the presence of ISK after the number defeats tools like the auto sum.
So my recommendation is remove the "ISK" after the numbers in Price and Credit Column but certainly leave the Currency Column which clearly tells you it's "ISK or Aurum" I hope that made some kind of sense. |

Its not ******* rocket science Yes because this is the educated/smart way to express feedback. Great job!
when you bug reported and writin it in countless threads that ccp made about what you want fixed and when you writing about it in 20 threads and several ccp devs/gm have commented on it and yet when you see nothing has happen you will experience a little frustration when you realise they completele ignored it again so dont give me bullshit like this. Its like telling a kid to stop jumping around on the couch, after couple of hours you get tired of telling the kid to stop and then you will just punch the ******* kid in the face and then give the kid ritalin. Quote:- The Corporation Icon is now part of the Neocoms default layout. For users who are not in a player corporation they will be directed by default to the Recruitment tab.
I will probably never understand it. Why are you forcing elements into my UI that I do not need there?
First you completely revamp the entire Neocom (-> fix what is not broken) under the pretense of making it more customizable for everyone. Now you force me to remove the idiotic corp icon every time I log on, because every minimized UI element is sent to that Neocom bar and I just don't have the room for the corp icon there. It's why I opted to remove it in the first place. And now some Dev decides I have to remove it every time I log on.
You have no idea how much effort it cost me to refrain from rude language in this post - so could someone at CCP please tell me why you thought this was a great idea? |

So, what am I allowed to shoot, and what am I not allowed to shoot?
Yesterday, I was minding my own business, mining or something, when I undocked and there was a red pod sitting outside station. I figured, what the heck, he's red, might as well, right?
Wrong. Big security status loss.
Same problem just a little while ago. Corpmate and I were out flying around, mining or something, when we ran into a Tempest. There was a fight. When it was over, the tempest pilot was in a red pod.
Am I going to get slapped everytime I shoot a red pod? Or are some of them ok, and some not?

CCP should just cut the chase since they are slowly nerfing different high-sec activities for carebears to make money to force them into low/null sec. Next patch EXTERMINATION - the total removal of the sec mechanics - all players will have a automatic bounty based off the amount of SP they have - removal of cloning facilities to ensure SP loss when podded
Then it should get interesting

Ok two things.
1. Can you PLEASE sort bookmarks ordering any patch soon? This isn't hard to fix. They are NOT sorted alphabetically when they start with the same letter. It's random. When more than one BM or folder starts with an S for example, they are not sorted alphabetically individually.
2. It's fine to remove minerals from drones and mission as you, for the moment at least, seem to have almost eradicated the bots. I haven't mined in years myself because of that, all belts always were raided clean. Ah, the good old days od 2003-2006 when you could find full belts even in empire. Even though they now appear to be larger again, miners will "come back" to mining, most likely leading to belts being raided again (but within the EULA). This will lead to a continuing of high prices for minerals and products, and in grinding for some players - that doesn't like mining but can't afford the new prices.
You need to really speed up belt ore regrowth, and keep be vigilant to keep botters out. Mining should be a good business, but not at the expense of barbaric prices and less real pew pew.

The issue is felt harshly in w-space, where almost all interactions require bookmarks, yeah, I'm calling them that. |

Also the inventory system sucks ass, do you people play test anything before you implement it, or simply refuse to give up on a bad idea because you're stubborn like that? |
