Ill make this short and simple.
Essentially I've had the excellent RPG Oblivion IV from the Eldar Scrolls series, and I have both of the expansions...well...I've done basically everything after about two years of playing, and it has dawned on me...I have none of the DLC.
Anyone know where and how to download custom oblivion mods? What do I need to download to download these mods?
Links and explanations would be appreciated. >>Insert generic signature here<< |

I used to be a quite avid modder of Oblivion, the mods are amazing (some better than the original game) usually though they dont add much new content you need to "work" for e.g (most mods once installed are either found in a certain place that is mentioned in the download). When I began installing other peoples mods i used OMM (Oblivion Mod Mananger). All these mods are available on
Mods MOAR Mods
Careful how many you install, as they conflict, and also once you use alot of them the itch to make your own will take you, Bethesda relased a modding suite for Oblivion which is quite easy to use, you can basically add anything into the game with the right amount of knowledge.
Have fun

Best place to learn about the mods is bethesda's own forums.
Also, are you playing on the PC or Xbox. No player mods for Xbox users. Besides, I'm never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down |

If you happen to get the modding fever and like to make your own, I found the TES CS Wiki to be extremely useful. -------- Ideas for: Mining

Most important mods:
BTMod. MUST-HAVE. Modifies the UI so it's much more PC-friendly.
NoMoreAnnoyingMessages. Gets rid of all the console-style messages of "loading area" in between cells.
Natural Environments and Qarl's High-res Textures. Just to make it *look* like a PC game aswell.
Francesco's or OOO mods, to balance out the game much better, generally increasing the difficulty, making rare items actually rare, and otherwise streaming the gameplay for a more involved experience rather than the console-style snoozefest.
tesnexus.com should have all of these :)

Deadly reflex. Adds so much to combat. Shield bashing, dodging, and gore (cut off someones head, smash their head open with a club, puncture their lung with an arrow). Reneers guard overhaul is pretty nice too, along with No Psychic guards and Open Cities. ------------------------------------- My other alt is a Ferrari |
