EVE is the only Sandbox MMO out there. The only other one on the horizon is World of Darkness, which -- gasp -- is also owned by CCP.
So not only does CCP support the Sandbox, a Sandbox where a PVP alliance can swoop in and murder people at random (EVE) or a Sandbox where a PVP alliance can perma-kill players they don't like (WoD), they are quite literally betting their future on it.
In short: Maybe EVE isn't for you. |

These are the simple facts, CCP will continue to see their subscription shrink and they will have to respond. The question is will players be willing to return after all this crap.
These are "the simple facts": their subscriptions aren't shrinking. Sorry to humiliate you by pointing out that you're supporting your point with a flat out lie, but CCP recently confirmed that EVE's subs are higher than they've ever been.
The actual simple facts are that EVE's subscriptions only shrank whilst CCP neglected the "grieving" part of the game. Every other period of the game saw an increase. And that increase was fastest whilst the rules were loosest.
A first order business analysis would conclude that non consensual PvP should be buffed and encouraged, not reduced.
I now return you to your wonderful world of simply making things up to support your prejudices. Carry on! Malcanis' Law: Any proposal justified on the basis that "it will benefit new players" is invariably to the greater advantage of older, richer players.

almost forgot; breaking the game you like to play so that when/if the company running the game every punishes him for his actions and the actions of his friends to SAVE the game it can only be called a Phyrric victory. To save the game they have to break the game. Its a win/win for him and a lose/lose for us.

The issue with the idea of of "breaking Highsec-players routines (for their own good, of course)" is that most of them are mentally so close to the mining/ratting bots they employ that any sudden change to their routine makes them break down.
Highsec is pretty much populated by Kaspar Hausers, except with astroid belts instead of a wooden horse. |

If griefing is really this much of a problem for you, why don't you move to the PvE shard? It's a beautiful land called Singularity, and I think you'll fit in nicely there. Nobody is allowed to pod you, and nothing you do matters at all. |

Not true.
I've been in 4 Null sec alliances. They all lost thier space in 6 months and I ended up back in high sec.
