Originally by: Xornicon Altair Clearly, you were in the wrong alliance. You should talk to us about joining us. Our rules are much simpler: RL > Ingame Fun > Ingame Boring. Sometimes the boring stuff has to be done, but, usually not.
Oh... and you don't have to move far if you wanna join us. I'm sorry that you're on our killboard.
LOL - tell Rojo Mojo to post his losses including his Tech 1 'ranis. Oh the pain of 1 vs 4.

Originally by: Gneeznow actually that sounds more like modern northern coalition alliance rules, ya know like MM / razor where you are not allowed to pirate (fun) not allowed to be a **** on CAOD (also fun) not allowed to smack in local (loads of fun)
just fyi, MM have had rules about not pirating since they started in tribute (i never ever broke that rule ever promise cross my heart scouts honour) and they also always have had a no smack rule (a rule soul raven never ever breaks ;p)
I personally like some restrictions on the local/caod smack, because free hands for all members have given us 'delights' like bob and goon. I mean, Jebus, loads of goon/bob in local and its not good. MM and such we always talk nice about the fights or old times ect. Friendly banter and quality smack is ofcause very nice ;) but with goon/bob my personal experience say it far and wide between.
Anyway my point is that rules in alliances is good, and personality leaders are golden, if you ask me

--------------- ^^ As my colleague has just pointed out, there was really only one rule we found obsurd. k/d ratios mean nothing and a lot of EvE seems yet to figure this out. It's important to kill, sometimes you die - particularly when you are looking for a good fight and the enemy has you outnumbered (again).
IEEX has never had problems with Alliance rules and has always participated. We were in Stain Alliance a long time so were Dark Knights of Deneb iirc (for a shorter time).
It has been rather funny that we have been kicked and it also for me leaves a sour taste. We had a long hard discussion on whether to join these guys. They told us they were setting up as a PvP alliance. No blues. No lofty ambitions until we had seen what we could achieve.
29 days. Is that enough time to figure eachother out? Is that enough time for Ego's to temper? Is that enough time to get the cog teeth meshed together? A lot of you outside this have not figured this thread out. Take my first post on a sarcasm level of 10.
IEEX wasn't having too bad of a time of it, in Minor Threat. There were things I didn't like, as I guess my corpies felt too but, unlike Minor Threat we overlooked them and kept on trying. We also made sure we had fun (see 319- on our killboard).
So the clarify: the Ops post is to point out that some rulers and their so called rulez can be ridiculus. In this case it was more about certain other Ego's dislike for us - from what I can gather. Something they could not be honest about.
Last thing NAFnist; remember why you subscribe and login... ..for me it's to enjoy my time. I don't mind some grind/work as we all feel a sense of achievement when something good happens. What is of concern is there appear to be far too many of you that are overly concerned with a pixel rendered spaceship that took you 10hours to achieve than you are with forging real friendships and having a fun and a laugh - whilst sharing a mutually enjoyable experience. Something I think you probably have in AAA - respect to COL. Shame RAT hate IEEX so much we might have flown together.
Finally, The Boss "Scooter1" will surely continue to make decisions to ensure we continue to have fun and hence the membership of IEEX continues to grow.
