Edited by: Unit ADA on 05/03/2009 03:07:10 I was thinking of a rather humorous idea as I was traveling through space, I found a mound of corpses near a 0.3 sec stargate. I collected them all just for the lulz.
I thought corpses could have more uses in the game. Then I remembered about Soylent Green and thought of an idea that pirates and outlaws can use to make money.
Corpses should be able to be reprocessed into components that could be used to make a new type of boosters(drugs, not cap boosters).
The boosters would provide a boost(not sure what)that last a duration depending the amount of corpses harvested to make the boosters.
Another Idea that I have thought up would be to take the corpse and create jump clones that would have the same skills and attributes to the person whom the person belonged to.
However to balance this, the jump clone will only last for a temporary amount of time before it dies.
Consequences are the withdraw and that fact that you'll received a big sec hit and probably get blown-up if you get caught by customs for carrying the drugs as its known to be made of corpses.

Just to set the record straight. You're proposing the introduction of zombies?

Edited by: Mithfindel on 05/03/2009 07:49:05 It isn't ingame, but technically, new clones (not just only jumpclones) are made of reprocessed biomass. Which means dead bodies, with the important bits of DNA denatured and recoded. (Technically by the fluff it'd be possible to grow a true clone, but it takes too long, at least for the revolver-door-death combat pilots.)
tl;dr: Medical companies should buy dead bodies. A-class flash-frozen biomass. (Never mind that bodies don't get flash-frozen in space, since vacuum doesn't actually conduct heat that well at all.)
And oh: Skills remaining wouldn't work in-character, since the fluff also states that the emergency mind transfer device (called a "brain burner") does exactly what it's named for.
