Edited by: Tharrn on 12/08/2004 20:47:06 Freedom.
Such a nice catchword, which is abused much recently to rectify acts of agression against the Empire.
Who can claim to be 'free' anyways? Everyone is bound by regulations that ensure stability and prosperity. I am bound by oaths and the scriptures, the Gallente are bound by their laws.
While we openly state that we are spreading the word of the one, with force if me must, thus helping those to whom we carry the light to see the wisdom of the one and serve him as we do, you claim to bring 'freedom' by oppressing our way of life and threatening to overthrow and utterly destroy us.
How noble you must feel, enlightened and so much better than the lowly Amarrian slavers. How thankfull the 'freed' Minmatar must be when they live in slums and ghettos, 'free' to watch the latest ****ographic Holovid or to go where they will (if they could afford it). Whatever the Gallente have done, they have done it halfhearted, turning their attention to new, petty matters as soon as the task at hand bores them. Who cares about the fate of the 'freed' anyways? They have 'freedom', what else do they need?
Amarr is persistant. We do not change much because there is no need to. You will never enforce your 'democratic freedom' on us. PIE is at war with almost twenty corporations. They and all the other defenders of the Empire have proven to be a bullwark, making Amarr safer than any other Empire could ever hope to be. I wish you good luck in your endeavour for you will need it - unless you turn your attention to more pressing matters like your senators in due time, which is exactly what the universe expects of your noble people.
For as long as we stay true to the scriptures and serve the one faithfully Amarr and our sacred traditions will stand. And who knows... maybe the day will come when we 'free' you and help you embrace the word of god.

Quote: What does a minor corporation like mine expect to accomplish versus the might of PIE inc? In truth, very little. We are small, not hugely influential or powerful. In short we expect to die.
Utham pondered the stun gun leveled at his temple, and another squarely in his back, ready to be discharged should he move in the wrong way. The security of the Guiding Hand Social Club had increased measureably as the fight wore on, but in the end numbers proved an overwhelming force, even for the Commander of the Dog Soldiers.
The servers were glancing his way in either fear or interest, most just a gaggle of Caldari talking about the latest declaration of war on PIE. That makes nearly twenty? Utham's former boss had also declared war on PIE. In all cases, what could one or two Matari do against such a corporation so reckless in its faith?
They could fly out and meet them head-on! One Matari could destroy the whole infrastructure, and now there were more than a hundred of these strong pilots for the cause. It hardly seemed fair for PIE to have to take on such monumental Matari retribution. How did PIE ever hope to survive?
Utham fell forward onto his chest, legs kicking the stun gun of his backside attacker into the rafters. Rolling to one side, then swinging a 180 flipped the next guard on his back.
Utham brushed off the dust, now alone in the lobby. The line of guards between him and the main floor looked to be about four deep and fifteen wide. A smile grew across his face and he charged them.
How did they ever hope to survive?

"My Lord, it is beginning!"

"Send word to our fleets, it is time we showed the darkness the truth of light and the power of Matar. We shall free our people!"

Phennick
Your mockery of our customs and your contempt of our way of life is amusing since you call us arrogant and elitist.
And your misguided faith in this concept of freedom, that you seemingly hold so dear, is also amusing since you, your people and those you fight for are not free and never will be, bound as you are by the constraints of your ridiculous societies.
So you have decided to fight and die and that is a pity, for it is likely that you will die in ignorance and without the blessing of God, never knowing what it is to be truly free.

Interesting that Amarrian benevolence has to be forced upon people. As I understand it, true benevolence is something one would be glad to accept

So PIE still has a free war slot.....
How interesting,... their vote on filling that slot seems to be taking a great deal of time....
Oh and it's nice to see the likes of EVE Guardian reporting for your propaganda machine. I don’t think they ever approached TPFM and I'm sure we had a War list of nearly the same proportions.
Quote: What is with everybody jumping on the bandwagon? All it causes is more bloodshed.
So speaks the Caldari......
Quote: (Or at least have the common courtesy to declare war on us too. )
Is that something you really want? I'd be careful what you ask for, your corporation is taking losses on a daily basis.
And on a final note, Vronsky Bros and Sons, welcome to the struggle.

Nonsense, number name.
It should be plain and clear for all that EVE Guardian is quite the independent publication, and does in no way serve the interests of PIE in particular.
Why they never opted to do an article on TPFM....
Let us put it this way.
TPFM failed in its terrorist goals, deemed by (most of) its own members to be unworthy of their continued membership.
It was a failure.
Who would want to read an article on loosers? ----------------------------------------------

Your lack of knowledge is as painful as your lack of spiritual guidance and refusal to accept it.
PIE has allready decided to war against Masuat'aa, the buerocratic powers of Concord however have misplaced their approval rubber stamps and until they can be found you can still avoid us as before, as when you declared upon AmAx instead of PIE.
PIE has sent reprimands to the CONCORD bureau requesting that this technical formality is resolved.
As for Vronsky Bros, an honorable fool willing to risk it's life is still a fool.

Gaius, if I may..
Forgive me (I'm sure you will) for skim reading. (OOC at work)
The article doesn't in itself paint a pretty picture for PIE. It is further comments from Shar that I do not take kindly too.
Why there was never an article on TPFM is not something I feel you are qualified to explain, as is plain from your own comments.
TPFM didn't fail, nor did Oracle - a pile of corpses from your CEO down would testify to that...
Neither corp. was considered unworthy of continued membership. However, when something happens that is of a higher calling, one must listen to that call. Again something I'm sure you know only too well.
Majaraw, once again I must apologise for my skim reading. I missed Hardins comments regarding the issues with Concord.
The choice of fighting your lapdogs first is a tactical one. One that I might add has worked rather well. The continued destruction of their vessels has obviously forced you to come to their aid.
How quickly you forget that before the advent of the likes of FoM & PRM and the return of Oracle from deep space, TPFM stood alone against the combined forces of the CVA.
