Yes, partly that was the idea, but we usually wait until we are sure that we are not making any more modifications to the data in hotfixes.
Is it true what they say, that this release is nerfed, missing alot of info, like the old NPCs damage types etc ? _________________ - Rivqua - --- R.E.P.O. --- |

It doesn't. Reverse Engineering in previous dumps have had meaning completely unrelated to Apocrypha Reverse Engineering. That's why this has been removed. Also removal of indestructible objects from data just makes it lighter without any impact on it's consistency. -- Thanks CCP for cu |

Sorry, did you just completely gloss over the part where the above poster asked if NPC damage attributes were removed from the database? Yeah, thought so. Nobody even mentioned the issue of the reverse engineering (other than to quote for completion's sake) so I don't see why your comments are even relevant here.
Also, what "indestructible objects" do you think have been removed from the data?

A first MySQL dump done from the current available dump, consider this as a preview as I'm not the expert converting from SQLServer... importing it (in windows mysql command line) worked for me.

Running a quick check on Attribs for a "Serpentis Watchman" for instance
select * from dgmTypeAttributes where typeID = 10284
gives 71 Records on the Quantum Rise dump and 0 Records on the Apocrypha dump. In fact there appear to be about three times as many records in dgmTypeAttributes in the Quantum Rise dump compared to Apocrypha.
So yeah, looks like no Sleeper NPC stats... or any other NPC stats in the new dump.

I understood what that meant. There seemed to be a bit of confusion as to what was included in the entities group. The example was to confirm that NPCs, amongst other things, are in that group.

Pretty sure the NPC info as well as wormhole info can be extraced from the cache files anyway so it seems a bit pointless that CCP would remove it from the dump, since someone WILL provide a copy of this data eventually....

From my work, NPC attribute data has never been included in the cache files provided to the client. I hope I'm proved wrong in this case though.
On a brighter note, the wormhole attributes were present in at least one of the later Sisi patches but not tried it with any TQ build.

Sadly you are correct, there are no NPC attributes (damage, resistancies, ewar) in the cached data. ----- http://games.chruker.dk/eve_online ----- Top wishes: - No daily downtime - Faster training on sisi - Speedup IGB table rendering |

Excellent! I am very confident I have a stable MySQL Export from the MSSQL .bak file. I will be posting it on evedatacore.com shortly incase anyone needs the .sql file. It will be large, so be prepared to use command line export to get this bad boy imported. (all tables are lowercase - for legacy and compatibility sake)

Thanks, I appreciate your effort. I just need to let you know there is little problem: all descriptions (and other varchar-s) are truncated to varchar(255).
Otherwise great work.

You're right, I used Navicat wich seemed to be decent. But from 3000 to 255.... Might be a few others who did their own migration so maybe they won't have the same problem. I'll look into it otherwise. Edit: In fact, I missed a step and will fix it. ------ This sig space is Read-only ! omgalink - Online Skillsheet |

I've found it a lot easier to do sql using access, but only because Vessper releases his access database version that he uses to do EVE HQ.
I'm hopeing (and going to find out later on) if you can create and modify SQL statements with Visual C# 2008 - if it is then it's going to be awesome.

.csv is basically a text file version of the database file - you could open it and read it in Notepad if you wanted to each row of data is a line of text, each field in the row is seperated by a comma not the most efficient way of moving around a databases data, but sometimes the easiest to work with |
