So TEST is planning an assault on Jita tonight. I did some legwork and observed following strategies the last cupple days:
WATCH YOUR BACK They have a spawn point / bookmark 60km behind 4-4. There's a container, I've seen numerous ships warping there and logging off. DONT HANG OUT AT DOCK you're an easy target from there, and might have problems targeting them because the station is in your way to click em.
GOON SALVAGERS They have several industrial ships and frighters with them looting wrecks. If you wanna hit them where it hurts (the wallet) gank those first.
DONT HANG OUT AT DOCK Last cupple days TEST and goons were not ganking at 4-4. They were roaming the stargates, possibly a scout at 4-4 to tell em where a shiny cargo is heading. TiDi makes for easy observing. Theres usually 30 Hurricanes hanging out at PERIMETER GATE for whatever reason. Theyr not stationary, I watched them all warp to another stargate and by the time i got there it was empty but a lot of concord ships - FOLLOW THE BLOB
Thats all I got for now |

Actually, there are also watching for incoming freighters a few systems out. They are at the Perimeter Gate quite often, but just because that's where most of the stuff is coming from. |

Also spent time roaming the gates, but man it takes forever to warp across system.

Some NPC corp guy was hoovering up the wrecks we made in perimiter last night in his noctis on the jita gate until the FC spotted him. Waited for him to get almost full, then we popped him and scooped all the loot and salvage he'd collected for us. Which was nice.
He came back though, did it again in another noctis, so we killed him again. He lost 3 noctis within 40mins and a lot of isk before he learned and came back in a velator. lol http://roxwar.blogspot.com/ |

Well - it has above 70k with an all 0 character and no fitting. Anyway - a moderately tanked Orca will have more EHP than a freighter.
Add to that the fact that the corp hangar, ore hold and ship maintenance bay can't be scanned by players and wont drop anything when killed and it's quite obvious why relatively few of them have been ganked.
Also, I'd assume most Orcas have a tank of some sort. Personally, I always fly mine max tanked becasue I never transport anything in the cargohold for above reasons (well - maybe some trit or cap-boosters at best), so cargo extenders and rigs don't make any sense for me. You know... morons. |

When I first read about all this disruption, I was pissed. But then I figured well, someone was going to try to exploit the Jita bottleneck sooner or later. Problem is, that while buy low markets are splattered all over EVE, the sell high market is often exclusively Jita. Since inter-stellar trade is my money maker, and since goon-swarm has gotten clever and creative, I guess those of us who are tied to economics are going to have to get creative as well. Instead of getting my undies in a bundle, I decided to look at my trade and market tools to see what I could do about this --disruption. What I found was interesting. A couple of days of these attacks have done dramatic things to the markets in which I'm interested. And as you might expect, it has driven them elsewhere --almost instantly. Now I might be a bit premature, but Goon just might be doing us a favor in the long term. There is nothing quite as flexible as market economics. It almost resembles a living and breathing creature. I'm not entirely sure I'm upset anymore. |

I find it pretty funny that this whole Burn Jita thing is supposed to try to destroy the economy... the reality is that once it's done, Jita's going to have a flood of people going to get stuff they'd been waiting for, and industrialists will be making money hand over fist.

Jita is high volume - but often the lowest of the 4 major hubs in terms of sell price. You can generally get 5-25% more ISK/u by selling in the other major hubs, but it won't sell as fast as product in Jita.
(Faction / rare / low-volume items - might be different. But the high volume stuff that sells in 10s / 1000s of units at a time is generally cheaper in Jita then elsewhere. To the point that when I buy input materials, it's cheaper to buy the stuff in Jita at 10-15% below the other markets, and ship it all the way across the empire to turn it into product. Even though I pay about 1-2% in shipping fees.) |

I ALWAYS get T2 parts cheapest in Jita. It's the Target of EVE. (Walmart is too evil even for EVE). There isn't anything left for you to do to Carebears. -áGo, kill them some more. They're like fungus or bacteria, they won't die and they won't stop. All you have to show for years of organized harassment campaigns against them is ... nothing. |

If/when EMK gets back up and running, you could look at pages like:
http://www.evemarketeer.com/item/group_summary/18
Megacyte
Forge = 3250 Sinq = 3500 Domain = 3304 Heim = 3440
Datacores - Electronic Engineering
Forge = 179k Sinq = 194k Domain = 198k Heim = 216k
Fullerides:
Forge = 4000 Sinq = 4399 Domain = 4397 Heim = 4500
Hobgoblin II
Forge = 418k Sinq = 419k Domain = 440k Heim = 463k
Small Tractor Beam I
Forge = 1.63M Sinq = 1.85M Domain = 1.72M Heim = 1.75M
(It's a real shame that EMK is broken, it's market summary page was a big step forward, letting you get a quick look at an entire group of items, across the regions that you chose.) |

Makes me wish I was still building T2... http://cdn1.eveonline.com/www/newssystem/media/28130/1/marketorders.png |
