I would agree with "no large POS in highsec" at least, but I don't know why you'd ask for restrictions on lowsec. Dreads work perfectly fine there. Post with your monkey. |

Realize how foolish your whinning sounded and go about spending newly aquired loot.
If enjoyable, rinse and repeat.
Disclaimer: As someone who used to live in hisec and have their POS's reduced to wreckage I have seen first hand that it is more than doable. Welcome to the wonderful world of structure bashing. I believe the torp raven was a favorite weapon of those I ran afoul of.
Hmm.. might be an issue now as a Torp Ravens range is severely reduced. I think last I checked you needed Cruise on a Raven just to hit the Tower through the shields. Might just have been my skills, but you'd be nosed up against it anyway.
Stealth Bombers seem to be very common though. Alliance Auction - EVE Rogues: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1215438#post1215438 |

Well, if nothing else it would boost Lowsec, but I assure you there will be a lot of people that have issue with it. Plus side is that it is easily explainable, but on the other hand there has to be a way of removing the existing towers too. I don't mean having dozens of people shooting them all day from system to system to clean up either. They take them down in Ammatar all the time. I don't see what the big deal is here except the OP

All must be fitted with lasers and sentry drones, only practical way.
I doubt that anyone would want to start taking down those large POS's with just battleships.
My Alliance Leader did it all the time in Null 5 years ago. 150 BS's takes about 2-3 hours depending. People want EVE too easy now.

Seriously, if you don't like that empty POS at your high sec moon, Man- AND Corp- UP, and BLAST it down yourself with a Wardec.
That's what you guys are all about anyway......or so I thought. There isn't anything left for you to do to Carebears. -áGo, kill them some more. Where do you get 150 guys in amarr battleships for 3 hours? In highsec that is.
I find it bad for the game that we have safe havens for research alt corporations in highsec. Large POS-¦s are practically safe there, fielding thousands of research labs. Now that really is too easy for researchers. |

If there were enough research/invention slots available, we wouldn't need highsec POS's at all. |

I see no reason whatsoever to remove large towers from Empire. Sorry if POS killing is hard for you, OP - cry yourself a river, build a bridge and get over it.
A large tower consumes a lot of fuel, and allows the addition of many labs and modules - all which keep the market humming along quite nicely. Reducing all towers in empire to smalls would be devastating to the economy.
All that being said, I do believe some mechanic is needed to prevent players from sticking large towers up to simply "reserve" a moon. That sh!t drives me crazy...
And I've had plenty of friends lose a large POS in empire - and it was online and shield hardened, even. |
