I'm currently stuck in a wormhole (took one for the team, yeah go me.) This isn't a gripe or a moan about that, i'm fine with it, but is there no relatively quick way to find a wormhole amongst all the other signatures? I've ended up scanning down 12 signatures now, and none of them have been wormholes. I appreciate you don't want it to be easy, but this is just getting a little silly. Does anyone have any hints or tips on how to judge if a sig will be a wormhole without having to scan it to 30%?

But but... my ship is all pretty and fitted with tech 2 things :( I'll give it a few more signatures and if i don't find one, i'll go Rambo the local sleepers and take them down with my pod.

I got the same problem, well not properly stuck I still have ****loads of probes, but it is pretty annoying to find 20 signatures and just one of them is the wormhole. It would be nice to have a proper filter...

w-space is full og signatures so good luck pinpointing it, we did find a way out the time it collapse on us, sadly it was 27 jumps away and in another pocket of low sec, so our poor alts had to come get our ships

Very useful advice for someone who is probably running a core probe launcher. Deep space probes require a 220 CPU probe launcher and Astrometrics 5, which many people that enter WH with a probe launcher on their regular ship don't have.
@OP: Don't give up trying, you finally will find it. Make bookmarks on every place you have been, switch them on in the map overview, so that you can ignore probe hits next to the bookmarks. Once you found your way out, that bookmarks will be very useful if you come back. The gravimetric sites (the one with asteroids) will have rats spawned at them after a while for example. If you can run cloud harvester and hacking modules (you'll need the Archaeology skill) you can then directly warp to the places you found, so the time you spend searching the wormhole isn't completely wasted.

ive never been in a wormhole system, but it sounds as if exit wormholes appear just as a normal "cosmic anomaly"
to that i say NO, no no no bad idea, would make it FAR to easy to get out of WH space, start grinding my friend

I think a filter that showed you the rough size/density of an object would be fine. Obviosuly wormholes are bound to be large/dense, but then so are asteroid belts. Other things such as gas clouds would probably be classed as smaller/less dense. Only having to try for the asteroid belts and wormholes would cut time down considerably while still not making it an easy instant transport method.

can you imagine having 20 anomalies and you can't mark which ones you have already probed down ? Even with max amount of possible probes (should be 8, right ?) you can probably pin 3 at once... It's proper grinding

I have had the same issue, but did find the wormhole eventually. It does become a bit harder when they are all bunched up in the middle, this happens often in the Inner planets.
I ended scanning down 13 or the 14 total sites before I found the wormhole in the middle of the system. I started with the outer planets, and worked my way into the system. Every time I found a site I bookmarked it. A very very nice feature they added, is that in scanning mode, your bookmarks are grayed out when they are not covered by a probe, so using the already found sites you can position your probes so you are guaranteed to not get that same hit again.
It does take time, but it is doable.

It will be a Cosmic Signature of type "Unknown" vs. Grav, Ladar, Radar, etc.

A Wormhole inside a Wormhole is an impossibility. And to be stuck in a wormhole? what is your ship too wide around the middle that you have your back end sticking out of the "hole" into normal space with your nose into W-space.

I had one yesterday where the exit wormhole was 0.3 AU from a belt. It took me quite a while to finally find it. I kept thinking I was just moving the probe to an existing bookmark. I finally set the probe on the bookmark and started probing out from it. Found it fast then.
Got really lucky on the exit. Ended up 6 jumps from Jita. lol
