They weren't -5, CCP changed the overview to make it more confusing which is always good.
CCP Masterplan wrote:So here's the rules: * You can freely kill a pod if the pilot is an outlaw (below -5 sec status) * You can't kill a pod if the pilot just has a GCC. If you try, you'll get the non-suppressible "Are you sure? CONCORD will wtfpwn you if you do this" dialog This has always been the case
Normally someone with GCC will show up as red. What changed with Escalation was that we removed a special case in the UI that suppressed this red if they had GCC AND were in a pod. Now someone with GCC will always show up as red, regardless of their ship. However you will stil get punished if you kill a GCC pod BUT only if you click 'Yes' to the CONCORD question.
I do agree this can be a little confusing, and we're looking at adjusting it a little based on feedback such as this. |

So they made it such that you can get yourself CONCORD'ed more easily, and the way that told/warned you so at a glance--the suddenly non-blinky-blinky pod on your O/V--was changed as a "special case?"
Oooooo-Kay. I...

Don't see the logic here, but ::CCP::

Hey CCP, you know that you'd probably appease a lot of the crybears if you allowed players to go after GCC pods (at least in 1.0 and 0.9 sec), which will hopefully shut them up, which means our sandbox doesn't get fatally compromised by you caving to their whinging. For a while. Is urp-splosion tyme naow? |

Alright, I was in low sec yesterday and I killed an enyo and his pod was flashy red so I scrammed it. No warning and no sec status loss, right? I offer ransom and he declines to I pod him and I lose sec. WTF? |

He was either an outlaw (-5.00 or lower personal security status), aggressed directly to you (if he attacked you first), or a war-target you'd forgotten about (if you're at war). In those cases, pods are fair game, AFAIR. Is urp-splosion tyme naow? |

Your overview is hilariously bad. No alliance/corp tickers, transversal instead of angular, and 2x more space in the number columns than you will ever need. |

It's always worked fine for me.
And why should I care what alliance/corp they're in? As far as I'm concerned, they're all potentially in the same corp/alliance, the one called "Target."
