Is it possible? I know wormholes in w-space can lead to other w-systems, but can they lead to a different tier of w-system? And how many tiers are there? I've only seen combat sites with Perimeter in the name, and that seems like a good system of measurement if they continue in that fashion.

It's possible for any system to lead into any other system via a wormhole (except for jove systems).
But, yeah. These forums seriously need some indicator that the post has ended and the sig has started. |

I thought all wormhole space was considered 0.0 because its all "unexplored/unknown" parts of space, so there's no concord, thus the 0.0 rating???

Edited by: Celia Therone on 15/03/2009 11:33:41 I've scanned down a high sec wormhole that said in the info box that it lead to 0.0 space. I didn't go through and find out where, though.
This was different message than the one that you get when you look at a wormhole into w-space.

is this a troll?
For all they know:
You are carrying t2 bpo's You are carrying something else of incredible value You are collecting intelligence on them
etc....
This is epic lulz if wormholes are sending the selfish carebears that rarely leave empire into low sec or 0.0.

W-hole space is random, 1.0 systems in empire can still lead to the most dangerous of w-hole spaces. and 0.0 can lead to the easyest. there's no pattern to it, it's all completely random. if you find a wormhole that say's it leads to 0.0, it means 0.0 not wormhole space, wormhole space is called "unknown" space in the info on the wormhole in question.
also, i regually find unknown space wormholes in 0.5-0.8 space, it's a pain coz i want radar sites -------------------------------- this post was funded by Quafe now available in minmatar red. -------------------------------- |

One of my wormholes dropped me somewhere in AAA system. I dropped a jet can near their station saying I was there, went to the next system, scanned a new wormhole and got the hell away from there. *-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^*-*^-^ By the way, I am an Ishtar and T2 sentries fan. What I meant was is it possible to go from a wormhole system with just Perimeter (low level) combat sites, to a wormhole system with Stronghold (higher level) combat sites?

The first wormhole I scanned down lead from a .06 system in The Citadel to a .05 system in Lonetrek. The only indication it was still in known space was by the K162 designation.

Yes.
Yesterday, whilst out on corp ops in a Perimeter (Class 2) WH system, we found another WH leading to a Frontier (Class 4) WH system. ----- Originally by: Zaqar

Absolutely. Our colony is buried a few layers under the boundary layer.
Every day we see WH leading from our system to a higher layer. If we're lucky the chain goes all the way up to k-space. If not we have stuff to kill and harvest and live our little w-space lives. Wormholes ate my sig.
They said it was yummy. |

I ran into a wormhole that I when into and I appeared in 0.0 space held by RA. There was no sleeper space just 0.7 system to 0.0 RA sov space. Anyone else run into this?

Guys are using such wormholes for logistics constantly. In big alliances, people all the time ask or offer info on 0.0 - highsec wormholes.

we live in a first layer system, and use the deeper whole everyday to do harder sites with better rewards
Ive been lost now 3 times came out in high sec low sec and 0.0 the 0.0 one had a exit to delve and curse in the same system
all times from the same start origin

I went into a level 5/6 wh in high sec which ended up closing behind me and a fellow player this then led onto a level 3 wh which we promptly tried to find an exit from and then we got jumped by some player pirates and ganked which left me in a pod stuck in a WH lol.
Got to be the best 6 hours of my life..........Oh wait I'm lying what it turned out to be was some sleepers to kill *yawn* and basicly death in the end.
Hey they did offer me a bookmark out though for 50mill so I thought hmmm 400 mill worth of implants or 50 mill to get out........Answer: F**K YOU! Self Destruct
Ah the fun I have! Am I a fan of WH's F**k no! clever AI on sleepers? Oh please don't make me laugh just a few random Aggro scripts thrown in. :) And a massive boost in damage for npc's so we can pretend to be scared for a whole 5 seconds.
Don't get me wrong the whole WH scenario above was totally my fault this is no rant at CCP or Pirates or anything in particular I just didn't find the whole WH experience amazingly awesome more like medicore and a little ZZZzzzzzzzzzzz.

Fantastic This is a quote from a real carebear (btw I am not anti carebear at all I do my share) - but its great to see a true carebear quote, made genuinely.
The answer btw is that this is a game - not real life, or work, so the "profit" is the fun had in camping an area and getting a kill. Its a bit like angling when you return the fish - the "profit" was the act of the catch. CEO - |
