Yes, because they I'm sure they'd respond to any player inquiry with a hand-written (non-form letter) personalized response.
Hi, I'm Serathu, the head of the Interstellar Correspondents.
We respond to all email correspondence, where appropriate, and try to respond to submissions from the website where possible.
To answer some of the other concerns here, I can assure you that the reporter in question has no connection to the in-game entities that they have written about. Our internal policies have strict bias rules, part of my job is to enforce this and our actions are regularly reviewed by the same team that watches the actions of CCP developers - CCP Internal Affairs. If you feel that we are actually biased in this matter, I encourage you to contact IA with any evidence you have and ask them to investigate.
Finally, if anyone has any useful information for us that will help us to improve our news, you are encouraged to send us an email or submit a news lead as previously detailed.

Take a good look at all the news reports that have been released about Delve. Then take a look at what is actually happened in delve over the last 6 weeks.
It doesn't take any kind of deep insider intel to realize that the reporting in the south has been TERRIBLE. Normally I don't care about the reporting, but what we've seen lately makes a mockery of your entire organization.
It is the nature of news that not every reader will be happy with our coverage and should you be unhappy with it we would welcome any substantiated evidence of error that you may have, which you can submit to us via one of the methods detailed above.

This made me laugh. Not only is ISD biased but their also quite dellusional.
It does not take a rocket scientist to know that ISD news articles are purely the representation of a biased view. This has been an ongoing issue for quite sometime and it only seems to be getting worse and worse as time goes on. Kenzoku have been suffering from constant defeats for the last 6 weeks and no ISD articles were published during this period. They have their first major win in this time period and it's followed by two ISD news articles. Where were the ISD reporters during the initial 6 weeks? Why weren't any articles published about the daily slaughter Kenzoku and their allies received while the two coalitions (north and south) sieged Delve and Querious?
If you want the community to take ISD seriously with the news they publish, please make it as unbiased as practically possible and try to show some consistency with the events that may warrant a news report.
I can understand your viewpoint however I must point out that correlation does not imply causation.
To explain the reason behind what you've identified, we're volunteers and as such cannot rely on a formal commitment of time when it comes to reporting. We're somewhat understaffed at the moment and given some recent illnesses and absences, we've not necessarily had the experience and the volunteer time to commit to writing such news. This, coupled with the fact that we're not always told about events that happen (again, we don't have the staffing to know about everything that goes on or check every forum post), makes it very hard to produce a consistent output in terms of number of articles.
It's a situation I'm unhappy with which is why we're taking more reports on and will start prominently recruiting soon (we've got to make sure we have the people to train new volunteers first).
I hope that clearly answers this concern but if not, I'll be happy to explain further.

Originally by: Shamis Orzoz I think you missed my point. I'm not questioning the truthiness of your news. I am questioning the breadth of your news.
Please see my above answer with regards to staffing issues limiting our breadth of coverage significantly.

I just need to make a small point here; The Interstellar Correspondents (IC) is a division of ISD, an organisation that has four other divisions that have nothing to do with writing player news.
If you are unhappy with the player news, please direct your complaint at IC, not at ISD as a whole - the volunteers in other divisions shouldn't be brought into this as their work is unrelated.
