Hi wonder if anyone may possibly be able to help out ?? i was getting attacked the other day whilst mining and i locked the pirate back ! but to my suprise after i had fired one missile the lock i had just went and i had to do it again ! how did this happen and how would i do it ??

ECM is one option, but so is sensor linking skill in the form of sensor dampners. Halves you lock range each one used.

Sounds like he was using an ECM Burst to me.... ----------------------------------------

Do "Target Disruptor I" work the same way? Curious if those are as effective as some of the bursts.. -- Thread Killer

do you mean tracking disruptor? those slow the tracking rate of turrets, making them less effective especially against close up or fast moving (transversal, ie orbiting etc, not moving towards or away) targets.
