Here are my skills: Skills
As you can see have ok egineering skills, T2 heavies and sentry drones, almost no gunnery/missile skills and caldari BS V.
So what pvp/pve ship should i go for? Not looking to train to it for too long, but if you could give a ship, with reasons, and then give skills on top of the evemon skills that I would need to fly it.
Cheers.

train your missile skills a bit more than get yourself a nice cerb. crows are useful too, albit made of paper, and well within your grasp.
i would have said falcon, but they're getting nerfed soon. wait till after the balance before you start spending time training caldari recons.
caldari aren't particularly awesome at PVP though, so maybe us your drone skills and train gallente frig 5 for access to the ishkur/ranis. you'll want t2 hybrids though. also: sentries! ishtar!
get the elite core capacitor certificate if you don't already. it's well worth the time.
i'm not after the reward, so i'll leave it upto you to do the EFTing

Seriously it's worked well for a chon / RUR player, if only I could remember the killboard link. There was a solo rorq vs Kronos kill that was hilarious :D |

So I think cross-training to gallente seems to be the consensus.
Anybody have any post-nano nerf fits so I can fiddle with evemon.

You have great drone skills, some gallente drone boats might serve you well.
But you also got Caldari Space Ship Commands skill rather high.
So depending on how you want to PvP, I would perhaps say a Domi. Its not skill intensive since you got most of the drones skills already, and it is a very nice ship.
For a bit longer skill isthar can be a good alterenative as well.
But you also got good caldari skills, tho alas these mesh rather poorly with drone skills, but you can make a sturdy sniper rokh, or a blaster rokh with that 25% inbuilt resistance. Tho gunnery is requerd. And if you decidte to go T2 gunnery from Gallente ships hopping in a sniper/blaster rokh should be easy later on.
Tho I think a Vexor/Myrm then a Domi will net you the most fun in the beginning :), and getting them do not need a lot of skilling, but the drons skill really shines in them.
A guy I know have had success in this:
[Vexor, New Setup 2] Damage Control II 800mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II Magnetic Field Stabilizer II (or more tank)
Y-T8 Overcharged Hydrocarbon I Microwarpdrive Warp Disruptor II Fleeting Propulsion Inhibitor I
Heavy Electron Blaster II, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge M Heavy Electron Blaster II, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge M Heavy Electron Blaster II, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge M Heavy Electron Blaster II, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge M Small Nosferatu II
[empty rig slot] [empty rig slot] [empty rig slot]
Ogre II x2 Hammerhead II x2 Hobgoblin II x1

Should I go for Ishtar over Domi because I'm looking at the popular fits on evemon and they seem to take the same time. |

That kinda depends on your economy. Domi is very cheap. But an isthar is fast and agile. So depending on what the gang composition is, Domi is good for bigger heavier gangs (and great in RR gangs), and isthar for romaing HAC gangs and such.

Go for ishtar and train gallente BS to lvl 4, only takes you a few days extra and allows you to fly domi. ---------------------------------------------

You can decide as you go if you want to go for the ishtar or domi... try the vexor for size and while you are getting skills up for that (which will go towards both the ishtar and domi, you can then decide if you want the more agile ishtar or the domi.
I'd say for small gang pvp you would find the cruiser hulls more suitable. Especially roaming gangs.

Actually if I go for a domi which isn't reliant on gunnery skills I can get in one in 10 days.
Then train ishtar from there.

speaking from the stand of someone who can fly every tech 1 subcapital in the game, you will find no ship more versatile then the dominix.
yes, it has no useful gunning ability,(watch the grammar ****s twist themselves into knots over that one) but it can pack a real punch. it can tank solidly, or neut anything within an inch of its life while swarming it with drones.
there are many more ships that are better at one thing or another, but the dominix is a dependable beast, and i promise you it can help in almost any situation.

Sounds like a good idea imo .
As stated, it versatile, it really makes the drone skilsl shine, and can be very well tanked.
Neut domi in particular is very dangrous :).

anyhting you can fully fit and you can afford to use basically. every ship can have its uses.
