I'd assume it'd be allowed as it's supposed to be an untargetted jump 100km straight forward with a long activation. Considering the arena is 250km across and you can't really stop moving, it sounds like a very risky and exciting module to gamble on. |

I for one, don't care for the rule in general. i know people moaned and complained about the final match of the last tournament, but face it you know who REALLY won.
I also don't like the rule about throwing a match... one of the best things to watch a team who was about to win say " give us a few bil and we will self destruct." guess we don't see that now either.
anyways, please stream and commentate the prequalifiers. also put them on youtube |

if all else fails, alliances (or maybe eve radio or someone) can set up a live commentary channel on eve voice or on their teamspeak/mumble/ventrilo servers.

That was always the case. Standings are related to kill-points. It stops low-scoring teams that are are about to be eliminated from flying a single T1 frigate in the arena, thus depriving points from another team. |

Why is this even a rule? How are is it to code a new item that prevents movement before the match starts? Hell it could be placed a the center of the arena and mark the boundaries of the arena so the viewers and participants can actually see what is going on. |

No B and C teams is FULL OF SO MUCH WIN. It will actually be a competitive and enjoyable experience, assuming the finals teams don't just throw the matches. We don't even know how to sign up, and you wrote you would be announcing that next week ?
- Riv Yes a typo or rather a mistake from multiple drafts, it's now been fixed in the blog and all members of a team must be in their alliance by downtime on May 5th.
So if the schedule isn't written in stone, can you please do the tourney one month earlier? I need a new injection of pricemoney fast, ive forgotten how to make isk. |

The "v" in RvB means VERSUS.
The kind of laughable intellect that would have a person think Red and Blue are A and B teams is exactly the sort of genius level that CCP are renowned for avoiding.
As far as anybody* is aware, the only alliance this would affect is Pandemic Legion. It's kind of laughable to think that an alliance cannot enter the tournament if their friends do.
I'm sure Pandemic Legion will manage to make a dazzling advertisement for your entertainment this year just like year, I do so remember that Pandemic Legion advert from last year....

I was under impression that if a team fielded less than max points than it was this tiem itself that got bonus score (in case it won). |

I wasn't ignoring it, I'd raised it with the rest of the team and was waiting for a consensus (as well as heading home for the night and grabbing food).
We recognise the particular situation of RvB and we will accept entries by both these alliances as normal. As this could be seen as an exception to the b&c team rule we'd like to reiterate the new position on matches:
- For Alliance Tournament X the referees can call a match null and void or declare a result if they believe that one of the teams is not competing. This tournament is designed to showcase the talents of pilots and should be entertaining.

Not getting a direct pass over quali sounds fair and all, but does top 4 get spot in the qualis at least, or do you intend to put Darkside, Razor, Outbreak and HYDRA into the hat with the chance of having best teams out of the entire tournament, with the winners unable to defend their championship?
I realize there is the auction also, but it is only limited places and who ends up getting the ticket that way is uncertain, especially if you add 4 more teams to the race for the tickets.
Anyway, looking foward to AT10, hopefully we get the chance to defend our gold. |

Not true. Curse and Pilgrim are 14 points each and Arbys are 8. That's 144 points, which is quite illegal. Suggest you change it to "4 Atron, 4 Taranis, and 4 Ares"(which is 32 points total) or some such. |

Fabulous sets of rules. The 6/12 ships will make things interesting with the same point totals. I think it is quite good, it gives more advantage to lesser skillpoint teams where specialties might lie in frigates and cruisers. Should be quite exciting. WIll be browsing up more and reviewing, but one part did strike me as standing out and needing clarification
In ships and points section
1. Each team has 100 points with which to select their ships. Teams must use a minimum of 50 points. Gùª During Pre-Qualifying rounds, teams have a total of 50 points to select ships. There is no minimum number of pilots or points a team needs to field during the pre-qualifiers.
5. Unused points will be added to the opponents score.
In victory conditions at end
2. If a team chooses to field less than 100 points, non-fielded points count towards the opponent's score.
Gùª This rule applies to the 50 point limit during Pre-Qualifying, not 100 points.
To me it doesn't seem clear. Not clear if it is referencing a 100 point rule if only applies to 50 point, or if it specifically means the previously posted rule.
