Suggestion for two changes.
- Allow the "SET CLIENTS" feature to be automatically run if a new EVE client is detected.
- Prevent multiple instances.
For me personally the 2nd one is just something that if it isn't complicated might be a good idea. But the first one is critical, I'm going to keep this program and EVEMover mainly because EVEMover automatically moves the clients on start up and your program can set them again if something stupid happens. ______________________________
I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it. |

Simply excellent.
Small, simple, efficient work with windows 7 !
I have two 1920x1200 and it's real pleasure not to see any other element than my 2 Eve logons.
Thanks a lot.

Would be great if You will add "/end /LUA:OFF" as an option to starting eve client.

you can do it yourself already, open the menu and select the 'configure' option, in the editbox that says 'eve online path' add '/end /LUA:OFF' to the end of the string, click 'ok' to save the new configuration. from there on you will be able to launch eve with those options activated.

Hey I don't know if anyone has said something similar but I run a dual monitor set up with Windows 7. I can run EVE on one monitor and still use the other monitor without alt tabing or anything so eve is always up but I can still use other stuff on my second monitor. GREAT APP!!! But I have one question. After I close the window helper how do I start it up again? I can't seem to find it on my comp anywhere? Where is the default location as that would be where it is at?

As there is no installation process at all, the program file must be in the same location where you uncompressed it from the zip file.
Glad you like it.

Edited by: Isaac Starstriker on 05/01/2010 20:08:00 I tried your program and I do have some critisms:
Its a complicated program. Or at least, its overcomplicated for what its doing. Compared to Eve Mover which auto-detects and auto moves, (after the first time) yours requires me to assign programs and do it every time. It also doesn't support two different paths when activating Eve Online. (In other words, I have two Eve Online folders to save certain settings to certain clients and yours doesn't support it).
The reason I say its overcomplicated, is that if I were to ever suggest a program to someone, I prefer it to be simple and easy to setup. I think yours went a step too far and over complicates what should be a fairly simple process.
While I congratulate you on a fairly decent program, it doesn't work for me. Enjoy the free bump and fly safe! :)

Very nice soft I used it since several month now. I replace Evemon with that one cause of multiscreen support, it's just awsome ;)
One little request/suggestion : can we have a Unset client option? Indeed, if I have 2 client running on 2 screen and want to invert it, I have to full screen both to recover the window bar and drag it on other screen, then set client again, what could be a bit annoyning in certain situation (i.e. big fleet battle). Otherwise just great.
Thanks Pharago, and Happy new year! ;) |

You can do it already, it is the 'Restore' option in the menu, it is exactly what you are asking for. The 'Restore' option will give borders and title back to your clients and place them so you can move them again.
Happy new year to you too.

feature request
to understand what exactly i need i will explain situation. i'm using 2 or 3 eve accounts at same time. i have 30 inch monitor with 2560x1600 resolution. so its not so hard to place all windowed eve clients side by side if every client is set to 1280x800, but those *&^(**(& borders!!! this tool partialy solves my problmem, removing for one client borders and placing it to upper left corner. but if it would be possible second eve client set to upper right corner, 3rd one to lower left, etc... it would be perfect!
so: is it possible to make this tool move windowed eve clients to specific corner.
will be very happy in future to see this :)

The client switcher can use your logged character name already, go to the eve configuration window and in the general tab, there is an option called 'Show window identification', activate that option and the buttons will be able to pick up the name of the currently logged character.
