A good summary is in eve news 24, about BLM being given a week to get out of space.
http://www.evenews24.com/2012/05/02/a-final-black-mark-on-the-record-the-black-mark-dekco-reset/
Rumors are of course flying everywhere, about who is in the wrong or right and I have heard the lot of them.
But what I would like to know.
Was this decision of kicking BLM held in a roundtable of all CFC alliances, or was it just FA (zagdul) asking goons to do it, approving then both of them telling LJB this.
And, what are the lot of opinions on black mark from other CFC entities, including test.
Lot of rumors, can any of these things these be substantiated. What is what, what happened, is it true?
Personally, I think this whole thing was done wrong even if Zagdul or goons were right in removing BLM for legit reasons of LJB leadership issues, of which the points they have I have not seen in writing. They should have either backed the dominion of light guy who was asking questions a while back, and did a audit. Or ask LJB to step down after a new audit. If EXE wanted/needed/deserved space, and BLM sucked in performance recently (not sure need to check performance charts that I don't have), I don't see why half of the region could not be split with them.
Also this whole event, makes me wonder if CFC is really a group of allies, certain alliances have much more say in it then others and considered near equals to the goon leaders. Others are not 'full' members, and or considered pets of another. The line between what was the old NC, and CFC blurs more.
What do you think, or know about this? |

And what do you think CFC will do when they realize nobody will fight their blob? Turn on more of the terrible pet alliances, kick them out and consolidate corps into their own ranks. GL CEOs like BLACK-MARK CFC doesn't care that you helped them grind regions for months at a time, and formed up fleets just to hide in stations to blueball. |

I believe Zagdul brought the subject up with CFC leadership but it wasn't his decision alone.
Basically, BLM put very low numbers into fleets. In fact I rarely saw BLM guys up North. I don't know if you had an official deployment in VFK/CS- or not but I rarely saw any of you in fleet. You guys have an entire region, and presumable Tech moons, but it seems as though once you got your spoils you began getting fat and ignored the other CFC campaigns.
Mittani made it clear upon the dissolution of the Northern Coalition that to be in the CFC you would need to earn your place. I would say BLM didn't earn it and were subsequently booted. There may be an argument to say you weren't given a warning about this, however, your leadership should have really noticed a lack of participation by checking killboards, something every leader should monitor.
RE your point that some entities in the CFC have more say than others... Obviously this is true, I don't understand why anyone would think otherwise? Clearly those who participate more and put more numbers into fleets should have more say than an alliance who rarely turns up and when they do it's with 3 people. Just like the Tech moon reward system; the more you do the more rewards you get.
Also, from TEST's point of view, your leadership were total dickheads. |

I don't understand, they kick them out but consolidate them back in? What is the big issue here? Presumably the people who are being re-consolidated are choosing, or at least feel it is advantageous, to do so? They had 10 days to get out of dodge until BM leadership went reset mode. It's not like all the players within that alliance disappeared. I understand that a veritable dbrboatload went over to FA and others with no problems. From what I could gather as nameless cog in the imperialist GSF machine the only issue with BM was their leadership and not their members.

While I don't disagree with you, BLM did well to support Fatal Ascension. The members and their corps worked tirelessly to try and push that alliance to move forward and create a strong, pvp alliance. And in return, we did our best to help support them. Shoot, FA helped pay for their Titan by eating over 15 b of the costs. When they moved into Cloud Ring, we transferred all of our sov and infrastructure over to them free of charge. This was over 40 billion isk worth of towers, ihubs, upgrades, customs offices and a station we built. Infrastructure we're happy to see go into Mo'Chuslie's hands.
The problem is that there was a top down failure of communication, so things like deployments, operations and coalition activities were not only being missed, they were being intentionally ignored. BLM had good leadership in terms of organizers, FC's people who wanted to make it work but were constantly hit with a brick wall of "THIS IS MY ALLIANCE AND I'LL RUN IT HOW I SEE FIT!" The bottom line, if BLM as an alliance had cohesion and built up the individuality they claim they had, then why is it corps bailed as soon as the opportunity presented itself? In reality, three of the 6 corps we took on were approaching us weeks before this event transpired.
You can have an autocracy and lead with an iron fist and still retain the respect of your CEO's and directorate. But this takes a reasonable, grounded person to pull off.
I've invested too much effort into this whole situation, so this will be the last you'll hear from me on the matter.

Seph - Fortunately for you I'm not one to gloat when someone is made to look like a tool infront of thousands of people. No one is going to feel bad for you, or even care, that SKID-MARK got a bad wrap here.
The facts are:
CFC Alliances are weak space sheep and will always follow the herd regardless of why a fellow Alliance gets tossed out into the cold...
Since there are'nt any CFC Alliances strong enough to stand on their own, you will always do what goonies tell you to do or get tossed out...
EXE simply kissed The Martinis ass more than you did and therefore got your space. Goonies just make up an excuse to kick you and who is going to call them out on it?...
Don't feel bad, none of you are very smart and are actually very gullible. But at the end of the day you got to go out to 0.0, shoot structures, and make goonies space rich. Congrats!!.. .
