This is a raven blueprint. Note the approximately 4:1 ratio of isogen to nocxium. A drake is an even smaller ratio, 19,214 units of isogen to 13,600 units of nocxium. Frigates have a much larger ratio but are negligible consumption. These ratios are largely consistent across ship classes; minmatar and amarr battlecruisers use no nocxium, but even with the rather high consumption of tornadoes recently, that doesn't really explain his supposed 10:1 ratio of isogen to nocxium consumption - not even close.

This is a screenshot of some recent purchases; as you can see, they're of nocxium, several million units worth. Note the presence of the OPs name as a seller - he dumped three million units to me in one go, and 4.4 million units to another goon. The actions of someone intentionally seeking to depress the price, perhaps?
I'll let the reader take these two pieces of evidence together - the very much different ratios from his claim, combined with me buying nocx and him selling - and weigh them against the OP's claim that we're currently "offloading stockpiles" and then, from there, evaluate the veracity (or lack thereof, really) of the OP's bogus numbers. |

Yuki Kasumi wrote:What would you do if you needed to offload say 150m units of nocx? You want to keep the buys high, to do so one post buy orders to keep the pressure up.
As you can see from the screenshot Ive already offloaded mine, he got stuck with some of it.
In the end I guess it all comes down to trust, personally I wouldnt trust a goon, your choice... http://i.imgur.com/V5CxR.png
So "stuck" with it that I haven't even sold yet. Perish the thought.
And then there's this, from ingame.

What's it like having your credibility on the forums crushed by a goon of all people? |

Weaselior likes bragging about his technetium cartel, illectroculus defined just does whatever from time to time and I've always been here. Not all that many others post here so I dunno what you're talking about. |

Fish Hunter wrote:I don't feel like checking your consumption numbers but looking at supply ratios for ship building. looks like megacyte and zydrine were oversupplied, while pyerite was undersupplied. This is from looking at the ratios of ship building. And relook at your nocxium number it should be closer to 130 mil units.
And if you'd read the rest of the thread, you'd have realized that he intentionally gimmicked the nocxium number on consumption in an attempt to cause a panic.
I mean, the whole consumption number is suspect to begin with because "ships of each class" is extremely general and ignores modules entirely, but that's a separate matter. |

So yeah, nuff said. Even his "valid" numbers are questionable at best. ;) Maybe he corrected for it somehow, maybe not, but...
I agree, can't credit his consumption figures at all. If one presumes 75% of hull trades are manufacturer to the user (and the remaining 25% are traded items), then typical daily build volumes of megathrons, ravens, drakes and myrmidons are enough to account for his estimate alone. Not even bothering with the entire rest of the manufactured database.
I'd be curious to know where you got "daily build values" for those particular hulls. I've been working to come up with more accurate numbers than even the ungimmicked numbers Yuki used but there are some holes...
lafforet wrote:True is that there is no precise and comprehensive up-to-date info about nocx. According to a bit old data, when drone poo is removed, nearly 2/3 of nocx inflow is made from loot and a bit more than 1/3 come from mining. Therefore, it obviously is not all about mining. I cannot find source of the 97m units/day, but if I remember correctly, it was not data about nocx made from mining, but from refining. Early post-escalation data showed that incursions are nerfed significantly. Many incursion runners are returning to missioning. Now lets guess, will that decrease or increase inflow of nocx?
The data you're thinking of was indeed refining, and it included all sources - mining, refined modules, and drone poo. This was older data, prior to the drone poo nerf, and did not give specifics about how much of each kind of source generated each mineral.
The data Yuki is referencing for mining is from the same source, but is more recent. I've looked at the same numbers and can confirm that he's actually more or less accurate on his mining stats. |

o7 Corestwo.
Weaselior & I were proclaiming loudly for quite awhile a few weeks ago that morphite was going to crash and burn. No one trusted us then, either. |
