So as of today I can suddenly fly the Curse, Pilgrim, Sacrilege, and Zealot.
I can more or less T2 fit them to the max. (Couple days training for a couple items).
So.. which ship is useful for what situations?
Specifically, I am interested in Curse vs Pilgrim role and Sac vs Zealot role.
And even more specifically, is the Sac or Zealot a better solo 0.0 roamer?

They all do drastically different roles.
Curse: Gang ship. Cant operate without support, even if limited. Pilgrim: Solo. Dont try to operate this against more than one or two people, and dont even bother if your with a gang. The curse is better here.
Sacri: kind of a heavy tackler; can operate solo due to great cap, tank, and generally good survivability. Works well in a gang Zealot: can be either shortrange in your face dps, or longranged support. Solo isnt the best, as the tank is subpar, but works in a gang.. lacks the mids to do mwd/web/scram/booster.

so liek, look at teh bonuz.. and decide what to use it f0r riyte
so liek if it has an bonus to neuts yah? u pick events that maybe need an neutor.. liek if ur enemy is actif tanked or an gunboat ryte? (TD LOOL)
but then if has gun bonuz and is strong maybe shoot stuff wiv it so errrm its REALLY good at killin from range with an range bonus... so where u think its good??!?! close up1?! or usin that bonuz? i dunnoi bout u but liek i like to USE MY COMMON SENSE.
seriously think.. just think about it for a couple of minutes, if you think you will require more tank rather than agality.. well.. really just LOOK at the attributes and bonuses.
YOU trained the skills for these ships, for the last 2 months did you really not put a single thought into WHY? - you wanted maneuverable long range DPS.. so you trained for a zealot, you wanted to neut ur mission running targets.. so you trained for a curse/pilgrim.
these threads are so 2004

Edited by: Solid Prefekt on 06/04/2009 19:53:27 For a close range roaming gang bring Zealot For sniper gang bring Zealot For large roaming gang bring zealot For small roaming gang bring zealot For solo roam bring Curse
Just bring the Zealot for roaming gangs, you can't go wrong. You will almost always be the first cruiser to get a shot off and you can instantly change crystals (ranges).

Perhaps, having already specialized in another race's HACs/Recons, and having already trained laser skills (probably to try out the Amarr T1 cruisers), he suddenly found out that he can fly the Curse, Pilgrim, Sacrilege, Zealot after deciding to train Amarr Cruisers to 5.

For a straight year all i have been flying is force recon, the Pilgrim..... It really depends on what you want it to do, if your looking for big gang low sec (not 0.0) i would go for a curse, for the fact its the falcon of the amarrian race. It has the power to stand off to the side of the fight and make a HUGE impression on someone, i barely flew them. I think back in the day the curse could drain somewhere around 3K of cap at 75km out... maybe its fixed now where you cant i dont know. However, if your looking to fly solo, which i do. Go for the Pilgrim, Reason for that is. Its close range, it can ambush your target. It has some good boosts for drones and it can eat capacitor really fast, I have worked on my fitting quit a bit and i have learned you need 3 medium cap neuts, one smal and a cov ops cloak.... depending on the class size use the two big neuts and the small to get it all the way down, shut off the two big ones and conserve your cap for your tank. Best way to work for me....
