It would be dense enough to just be expanding outwards, and look quite a bit like it does now, actually. The trail would move with the missile, but it would not be too far off.
For example, here's the space shuttle ejecting excess water, from the space shuttle and from the ISS and other spacecraft. They illustrate pretty clearly how ejected clouds of particles behave in space. TEST Alliance BEST Alliance |

I may actually pull my Rattlesnake pilot out of mothballs for this expansion. Can you get a camera on the torps these days?
That is some nice animations.

Welcome to EVE! You quickly learn the eve mail system can predict the future with a surprising amount of accuracy.

That music is awful.
Missile FX are nice, but they somehow go over the top. Missiles don't leave twisted trails, period. EVE residents: 5% WH; 8% Lowsec; 15% Nullsec; 72% Highsec. CSM 7: 1 highsec resident out of 14.-á

DelBoy Trades wrote:Skrillex is that **** that all the teenage girls listen to, what is he doing on my EVE?
Huh my manly exterior apparently belies my teenage girl interior. Dunno about actually LIKING the music but that song has a VERY Vamipre the Masquerade (read: World of Darkness) video to it. And if it WERE VtM or WoD, the little girl would totally be Tremere or Lasombra antitribu (because honestly, a regular LaSombra would have done all that right in the street. Unless I guess if it were a Sabbat held city) with Thaumaturgy.
This post brought to you by the fact that the "skrillex is ****" vs "I like it" argument is annoying and off topic.

lol I know I should have expected it, this is EVE after all, but are ppl REALLY gonna rip this awesome improvement apart by nit picking it? Ant technically, there shouldnt BE trails on ANYTHING but ppl dont WANT THAT so like it already and quit nitpicking I'm a little tea pot, short and stout... this is my handle, SMASH THE TEA POT, IT'S EVIL! Also, imagine if the trail hung there along the flight path and didn't dissipate. Space would be nothing but contrails and I imagine the lag would be horrendous. Where exactly did I object to it dissipating? |

With the new missile graphics and the new stealth bomber designs, I am really looking forward to leaving Hi-sec to go sneaking around WHs and null, looking for trouble.
