Edited title incase there was confusion to what I was talking about.
Used to to be able to prep all active modules for a target while it was still locking, they still flash, but now they're just deactivating when lock is aquired for me.
I'm not noticing this happening half the time either. |

I haven't seen that, however I have noticed something new...
Previously if I primed 6 lasers and locked 6 frigates as soon as one was locked the first laser to kill the ship (assuming it instapopped) would deactivate all of the others.
I'm pretty sure prior to a recent patch if you primed 6 weapons they would all either activate or carry on waiting for the next target to be locked.
The only time I saw weapon deactivation was when a target was destroyed mid-cycle.
Hope the above makes some sense! |

That happens to me every time. The weapons will just sit there flashing long after the target has locked. To actually start firing I have to deactivate then reactivate them.
What annoys me the most are the ridiculous delays and mis-timings. A locked target (it's flashing 'locked' under the target) isn't really locked until the icon shows up in your targeting list. That's the first delay. The next delay comes when you have activated the guns during the lock cycle and they don't activate until 1-2 seconds after the target appears in your targeting list. That delay between the flashing 'locked' and the guns first firing can be upwards of 4 seconds.

from the apocrypha patch notes:
Quote: The targeting process is no longer interrupted, stalled or changed by activating an offensive module and trying to target a ship which is already in the process of being targeted. Previously players would have seen the target lock seemingly aborted with a warning message displayed.
this might have broken it.
