Simple request here. In 0.0 you are often sharing regions and even in empire you often do not want to fly far for goods.
Therefore add a "5 jump" filter, along with the current system, station and region.
Additionally, add a filter on the main screen that will remove all orders from non-alliance/corp mates.
Even better, make it possible for players to only offer sell orders only to members of their corp/alliance. Then you know that the special offers you give will not be used by a hostile.

The X-jump filter makes some sense(you'd make it an option, not just 5), but I'd like to see the market interface fixed to the point where it isn't necessary instead. The idea to filter out non-alliance orders won't happen though - it'd be laggy, and the game mechanics don't like it. ----- Bloodmoney Incorporated is recruiting! |

We already have that. I set mine to 0 jumps often, because I only want to buy stuff in Jita

No. That's no good, and it would cause tons of lag too.

Have you heard about contracts?

All good points. Contracts system is bleh but does work. If they overhauled the contracts system it would be ok. |

Edited by: Yue Rubens on 28/05/2009 10:44:12 Ok here's my 5 cents on the filter system:
First of all I like the corpmate filter idea in the OP, but as it won't happen how about you guys just scrap the 2 week limit on Corp-internal contracts and make it possible to set them to infinite? Corpie-Special-Offers Problem solved.
The X-Jump filter is very nice and fun on filtering sell orders, but completely worthless on filtering buy orders. I dunno if ccp just didn't think of this, but filtering buy orders will remove ranged buyorders in stations more than X jumps away, even when your own station is in range!
So for example I'm buying in a 10 jumps range per buy order and I want to see whether I'm still highest bidder. Turning filter on to 10 jumps and then wondering why I'm still not buying crap? Cause there's a regional buy order 15 jumps away.
