I see alot of PvP videos use scorch and INF but not Conflagration. I would have thought that conflagration would have been better? Or am i just being stupid and not watching correctly?
If INF is better, can you explain why? I'm intending on getting T2 pulse lasers in the near future and it would be of great benefit to me if there is some sort of reason why i should choose one over the other. Thanks for your time :P I have likes? How the hell did that happen? :D |

Conflag gimps your tracking by 30% and uses 25% more cap than MF... You know... morons. |

I'm not really sure why this is a debate. When I use lasers I carry both conflagration and imperial navy multifrequency, as well as scorch. Typically the higher cap use isn't as much of a concern because I can manage cap fairly well, so I only switch to the multifrequency whenever I have a target with high angular velocity. Support showing T2 and faction frequency crystal damage in the info window. |

It is usually like that tbh, I use Navy antimatter, but almost never void or javelin, I almost never use quake or hail, it only makes sense that I would almost never use conflag or gleam.
Short range t2 ammo is basically useful for stationary targets or ones that are massively larger than your own guns. I would consider using it on a ship with great tracking like a phantasm or a SFI, but even then I am probably not going to remember to try it. |

With the changes to gleam and quake there is now a tracking bonus, if it is inside the optimal for gleam especially you should be using it. |

Conflag on Heavy Pulse Laser can't kill webbed Warriors II and has issues with frigates. IN MF doesnt.
The missed salvos become so frequent in <10km range on that I believe you deal less damage than you'd deal with IN MF.
IN MF has 4000 shots while Conflag only 1000. |

Conflagration for large/slow, immobile targets.
IN MF for everything else.
Conflagration has 10% more DPS than IN MF, its also cheap to use. |
